If contempt for Christianity is so obvious in Israel, why don't more

I also had to ask myself why is Israel officially a "secular" country when
it so obviously isn't?
I have it on good authority from a family of 4 raised in Jerusalem, that
live here on the islands now, that Israel is as evil as any country on earth
and that anyone who is very religious is pretty much laughed to scorn.
