"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have
told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a
place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that
where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the
way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou
goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the
way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
If ye have known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from
henceforth ye know him, and have seen him." <> John 14:1-7
"And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my
commandments." <> Exodus 20:6 <> Deuteronomy 5:10
"But if any man love God, the same is known of him. As concerning
therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice
unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that
there is none other God but one. For though there be that are called
gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords
many,) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all
things, and we in him: and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all
things, and we by him. Howbeit there is not in every man that
knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat
it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is
defiled." <> I Corinthians 8:3-7
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the
LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all
thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be
in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children,
and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou
walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be
as frontlets between thine eyes." <> Deuteronomy 6:4-8 <> Matthew 22:37
"Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of
thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the
LORD." <> Leviticus 19:18
<>< -------=======>>>>>>> <> I John 4:7-14 <> <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<|=== ><>
"My dear friends, we must love each other. Love comes from God, and
when we love each other, it shows that we have been given new life.
We are now God's children, and we know him. God is love, and anyone
who doesn't love others has never known him. God showed his love for
us when he sent his only Son into the world to give us life. Real
love isn't our love for God, but his love for us. God sent his Son
to be the sacrifice by which our sins are forgiven. Dear friends,
since God loved us this much, we must love each other. No one has
ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his
love is truly in our hearts. God has given us his Spirit. That is
how we know that we are one with him, just as he is one with us. God
sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. We saw his Son and are now
telling others about him." CEV
"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one
that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not
knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of
God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the
world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we
loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the
propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also
to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love
one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath
given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the
Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world." KJV
"Dear friends, let us practice loving each other, for love comes from
God and those who are loving and kind show that they are the children
of God, and that they are getting to know him better. But if a person
isn't loving and kind, it shows that he doesn't know God - for God is
love. God showed how much he loved us by sending his only Son into
this wicked world to bring to us eternal life through his death. In
this act we see what real love is: it is not our love for God but his
love for us when he sent his Son to satisfy God's anger against our
sins. Dear friends, since God loved us as much as that, we surely
ought to love each other too. For though we have never yet seen God,
when we love each other God lives in us, and his love within us grows
ever stronger. And he has put his own Holy Spirit into our hearts as
a proof to us that we are living with him and he with us. And
furthermore, we have seen with our own eyes and now tell all the
world that God sent his Son to be their Savior." LBV
"Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; everyone
who loves is begotten by God and knows God. Whoever is without love
does not know God, for God is love. In this way the love of God was
revealed to us: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might
have life through him. In this is love: not that we have loved God,
but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also must love one another. No one
has ever seen God. Yet, if we love one another, God remains in us,
and his love is brought to perfection in us. This is how we know
that we remain in him and he in us, that he has given us of his
Spirit. Moreover, we have seen and testify that the Father sent his
Son as savior of the world." NAB
"Dear friends, we should love each other, because love comes from God.
Everyone who loves has become God's child and knows God. Whoever does
not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God
showed his love to us: He sent his one and only Son into the world so
that we could have life through him. This is what real love is: It is
not our love for God; it is God's love for us in sending his Son to be
the way to take away our sins. Dear friends, if God loved us that
much we also should love each other. No one has ever seen God, but if
we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is made perfect in
us. We know that we live in God and he lives in us, because he gave
us his Spirit. We have seen and can testify that the Father sent his
Son to be the Savior of the world." NCV

showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world
that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God,
but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our
sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one
another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God
lives in us and his love is made complete in us. We know that we live
in him and he in us, because he has given us his Spirit. And we have

our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one

abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. By this we know
that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His
Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son
as Savior of the world." NKJV
"Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes

"These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the
key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth and
no man openeth; I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an
open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast little strength, and
hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Behold, I will make
them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not,
but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy
feet, and to know that I have loved you. Because thou hast kept the
word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation,
which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the
earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that
no man take thy crown. Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in
the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write
upon him the name of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh
down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the
churches." <> Revelation 3:7-13

"For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden
from thee, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven that thou
shouldest say, Who shall go up to heaven, and bring it unto us, that
we may hear it, and do it? Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou
shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us,
that we may hear it, and do it? But the word is very nigh unto thee,
in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. See, I HAVE
SET BEFORE THEE THIS DAY LIFE AND GOOD, AND DEATH AND EVIL;"

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind,
and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
