Object: THE LORD REIGNS!
"Say among the nations, "The LORD Reigns."
Psalm 96:10
The LORD reigns because He created the heavens and the earth.
Nevertheless, infidels oppose the Biblical account of creation and are
attracted to the theory of evolution because
evolutionists do not have to obey the commandments of a Creator.
Unfortunately, many church members also show their infidelity by
refusing to obey the commandment that commemorates the mighty creative
work of God:
"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy."
Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But
the SEVENTH day is the sabbath of the LORD: in it
thou shalt not do any work ...
For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth,
the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the
SEVENTH day: wherefore the LORD blessed the
sabbath day, and hallowed it."
Exodus 20:8-11
When we rest from our labours on the Sabbath day, "In God We Trust"
becomes a meaningful experience instead of a slogan on a dollar bill.
In order to keep the Sabbath Day holy many difficult choices must be
made. However, as we put God first, each Sabbath Day becomes both an
opportunity for our faith to grow, and a visible witness that says to
the world:
"The LORD Reigns!"

They do if they believe in the Creator.
It's just that most Christians credit God with the power to create the
universe in whatever way He likes, and don't dismiss the wonder of what He
has wrought because it doesn't correspond with what they read in the Bible.
'Christians' like you try to bind God between the covers of a book, and
deny His work because you are afraid to look up from those pages, or to
accept symbolism as symbolism.

How silly. Man, good and decent man had his living rules LONG before he got
around to inventing his first ever gods. It was the priesthood that then
hijacked man's needs, repackaged them, and propagated them as a gods
creation. They do the same with 'sin'.
Grow up

Real Lords used to reign hundreds of years ago and long before that; so
when we made up our gods how natural to call them 'Lords' and have them
reigning?
It was natural because these 'Lords' unlike the real rulers, need not be
obeyed under the threat of death, these 'Lords' we could manipulate to
our heart's content, since we made them up in the first place.
Banal lunacy also reigns and will continue to do so until humanity sees
sense , it's going to be a long wait !

The LORD reigns because He created the heavens and the earth.

No they obey science which demands proof of each step before taking
another one.
Religion only needs faith for each step onwards and further into lunacy

Unfortunately, many church members also show their infidelity by
refusing to obey the commandment that commemorates the mighty creative

"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy."

So said early men - no gods involved in any 'shape or form' in fact
'shape and form' are both impossible for imaginary things as they
continue to so demonstrate

Yes we know, we copied our real lords when we made up gods

Allah claims to be "Lord."
Jesus Christ insists otherwise.

Personally, The "Goddess Jolene" seems to be the Girl With The Goods.

Well, that sort of depends who you ask. Jesus Christ doesn't refer to God
as Allah in the Bible, it's true. Well, except that 'Allah' means 'God',
so really, he sort of does.
As far as I can see, there is certainly no place in the Bible where Jesus
is quoted as 'insisting' that Allah is NOT 'Lord'.
Jesus, it's worth bearing in mind, is also hugely important in Muslim
tradition, where he is considered to be one of the great prophets of God.

He doesn't refer to ANYONE in The Bible, those stories about 'Him' were all
written by humans many moons after the so called and claimed events.

Aaaaah you got it right that time

You sure about that?

Yes, yes, very clever, I'm sure. Jesus never said anything because he
wasn't real, etc etc.

NO....... that IS NOT what I said .........and you know it.
Is it so hard for you to accept logic?

Yes, I am.

Do I? Oh. And there was me thinking that that was exactly what you
said:
"He doesn't refer to ANYONE in The Bible, those stories about 'Him' were
all written by humans many moons after the so called and claimed
events."
Still, since you know my mind better than I do, I guess I'll have to
defer to you.

Is it so hard for you to accept logic?

Still puzzling on this - so for the moment I have to answer your
question with "I don't know".

Strangely, Wikipedia is just as corrupt and dishonest as me:
"In Islam, Jesus (known as Isa in Arabic, Arabic: <Arabic Text>), is
considered one of God's most-beloved and important prophets and the
Messiah."
Perhaps you'd like to pop over there and sort it out? I'd do it myself,
but, you know, just can't be trusted...
