Object: The Power of His Word 3
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the
fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son,
whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person,
and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself
purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
[Hebrews 1:1-3 KJV]
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the
heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the
water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water,
perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word
are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and
perdition of ungodly men. [2 Peter 3:5-7 KJV]
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words
that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth
in me, he doeth the works. [John 14:10 KJV]

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the
fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son,

"IN THESE LAST DAYS"
Written in the first century.
So when were the "last days"?
In the first century.

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes,
But he who hates correction is stupid.
Go from the presence of a foolish man,
When you do not perceive in him the lips of knowledge.
He who despises the word will be destroyed.

In the first century.

So what is your point? Hebrews is saying "last days", to show a
contrast to the way God used to reveal Himself to men "in time past",
and is not saying "these last 100 years", to set a time limit for the
fulfillment of all God's prophecies in the book of Revelation.
