The problem with Southern Baptists |
Little Known Fact: Yes, it is true... I am an ordained Southern
Baptist minister.
Clinton Fitch claims to be a Southern Baptist yet fails to speak the
truth outside of christian forums.
I am not saying that Southern Baptists are as bad as the corrupt
American Baptists, but certainly they and their "Purpose Driven"
business often fail to dogmatically proclaim the truth. Not saying that
the "purpose Driven" stuff is of the devil. Christ confronted the
Spiritual Terrorists, Christ confronted those who did not preach correct
doctrine, Christ brought the gospel to places where it was not accepted
and in doing so loved the people. Christ had far more enemies than
followers. This is what I try to do on Usenet. I try to confront the
Terrorists, confront those who do not teach biblical doctrine, pray for
the unbelievers, and try to love those whom the Lord brings my way.
Clinton might take this as a personnel attack, but to be frank its only
a rebuke. Clinton and all misled Southern Baptists should read 1 Pet
3:15, and then read the lives of Paul and the apostles who preached
without ceasing, and yes even went into non christian areas to preach,
like what I strive to do in the non christian groups here.
But then again I am by no means saying that all Southern Baptists are as
misled as Clinton and Mr. Warren. (Yes I do own one of Warrens books
and he has taught me much. He is a Godly man, but he often fails to be
dogmatic with doctrine, and often fails to proclaim the truth in its
entire form).

Are you a Pharisee?
How one conducts themselves among others often provides a more
insightful witness than words alone.
"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for _they love_ to
pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners _to be seen by
men._ I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But
when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your
Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in
secret, will reward you. And when you pray, _do not keep on babbling
like pagans,_ for they think they will be heard because of their many
words." (Mat 6:5-7)
Clinton doesn't deny Christ, not does he force feed others (that was
never Christ's intent).

No a born again believer.

How do I know that Clinton even accepts Christ? Clinton (like many
other evangelicals) does not acknowledge Christ, but chooses to separate
his religious views from his professional work. I feel sorry for
Clinton and can only quote the following verse.
Mark 8:38 If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and
sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes
in his Fathers glory with the holy angels.
Luke 9:26 If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will
be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the
Father and of the holy angels.
Please note that I am by no means declaring myself to be perfect or to
be better than Clinton. All I am saying is that Clinton if he is saved
should learn that Christ needs to come with him everywhere.

Frankly, BJ, you have brought shame to my grandfather, an ordained
Southern Baptist minister who graduated from Southern Seminary,
Louisville, KY.
Sorry if the truth hurts, but you like the "tough love" approach; I
fear you only like "tough love" when it's YOU applying it to others.

Please refrain from loving me and I promise not to love you.
I hate you, Jade.
I hate you too, dear.

Do you think the Southern nihilists are good and upstanding nihilists,

Little Known Fact: Yes, it is true... I am an ordained Southern
Baptist minister.
Clinton Fitch claims to be a Southern Baptist yet fails to speak the
truth outside of christian forums.
I am not saying that Southern Baptists are as bad as the corrupt
American Baptists, but certainly they and their "Purpose Driven"
business often fail to dogmatically proclaim the truth. Not saying
that the "purpose Driven" stuff is of the devil. Christ confronted
the Spiritual Terrorists, Christ confronted those who did not preach
correct doctrine, Christ brought the gospel to places where it was
not accepted and in doing so loved the people. Christ had far more
enemies than followers. This is what I try to do on Usenet. I try
to confront the Terrorists, confront those who do not teach biblical
doctrine, pray for the unbelievers, and try to love those whom the
Lord brings my way.
Clinton might take this as a personnel attack, but to be frank its
only a rebuke. Clinton and all misled Southern Baptists should read
1 Pet 3:15, and then read the lives of Paul and the apostles who
preached without ceasing, and yes even went into non christian areas
to preach, like what I strive to do in the non christian groups here.
13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it
be not worthy, let your peace return to you. 14 And whosoever shall
not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house
or city, shake off the dust of your feet. 15 Verily I say unto you, It
shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day
of judgment, than for that city.
The words of Jesus Himself, which you OPENLY disobey.
Psst - Jesus didn't write that. You should educate yourself a little
more about the religion you preach, Bama.
chuckle.
snarfle.
I didn't say Jesus wrote those words.
Because you know he didn't. Thank you, my incredibly stupid friend.
I said they were His words.
If he did not write the words, there is no reliable way to know if they
are his words.
There is also no reliable way to know He did not.
If there is no reliable way to know if he did or didn't, the logical
assumption to make is that he (probably) didn't, but may have.
Incidentally, a quote in Luke insists -- in *his* words -- that you can
only love him if you first hate your parents, family, relatives, and self.
Did you follow that bit of (cult leader-type) doctrine, too? After all,
the Babble says he said it, so he must have done, right?
The historians of the time say He spoke them.
Historians say lots of things that ain't necessarily so.
That is sufficient for hundreds of millions of people, including me.
Hate yourself much?
That was the point you were too stupid to comprehend here.
Disagreeing with you doesn't make me stupid.
Believing that someone said something without reliable confirmation *is*
stupid, Stupid.
Your royal highness.
Your lowly gutterness.
:-)
And what purpose does it serve your sophomoric self to set in a Christian
chat group and take pot shots with your pee shooter at everything that
moves?
Mockery is its own reward.
Do try to grow up and shed the droopy, stinky diaper!

This guy would be good in a kook cage match against Wentsky.
