The Sad Little God
Those who profess to be Christians but adhere to the doctrine of evolution
have a sad little god who cannot deliver. They worship they know not what
and it turns out to be a mixture of paganism and Christianity which, of
course, is adultry.
Their little god of theistic evolution is incapable of special creation or
any class A or B miracles and they can never be certain about anything he
says or writes. They find it needful to add or subtract from his words
trying to fit them to the atheististic worldview yet affording some
sembelence to Christianity. Both of which have nothing to do with each
other. It is no wonder they are so confused and rudderless.
Yes, the sad little god of theistic or progressive evolution cannot help
them for he obviously cannot even help himself. The question is:
Why not come to the real God , the Creator of heaven and earth and all
life, the Lord Jesus Christ who can save them and give them eternal life?
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that
whosovever(put your name here) believeth in Him should not perish, but
have everlasting life." John 3:16

Creationists say that god created the world from one moment to the next.
Why would he create something so suddenly?
Why would he be in such a hurry when he has all the time in the universe?
Isn't it possible that he used evolution as his fashioning tool?
The results are more natural that way.
People have a tendency to think that it's a case of "either" "or" but what
if it's a bit of both?
There's no need for any argument.

God is supernatural. Why wouldn't He create in such a
way? And why would evolution be, "more natural" for a
supernatural God? Why would it be "more natural"
period? You assume that evolution as you believe it

"natural". If what you believe is wrong, then
evolutionary thinking would be unnatural.

Evolution on the microevolutionary scale happens. God
designed various kinds with the ability to adapt to
their surroundings. That does not mean that a bird
came from a dinosaur.
There's no need for any argument.
Then don't argue the point. :)
Why not come to the real God
No one truly knows the real god.
Not as He knows us (1 Cor 13:12), but we can know Him.

Anyone can be a magician but only a special being can make so many things

Not true at all. In fact, naturalism is the argument
that atheists use. Why would God create in a way that
supports atheism?
You desire to make God bound by your rules of what you
consider to be natural. That isn't natural for God.
You are assuming that what is natural for finite
beings, is natural for an infinite Being. The very
idea that He's infinite, breaks down your argument of
Him having to work in what you consider a "natural"
way, since i isn't "natural" to be an infinite Being.
Why would he be in such a hurry when he has all the time in the universe?
Why would He take a long time? Is He not capable of
doing it in six days? Why would that be a "hurry" for
God?
Well, it would be a bit ridiculous for a god who is timeless to just say
hmm, I think I'll create a world now. Poof!!
Why? Going by your argument, which is that He wouldn't
create quickly, because He's infinite, He would still
be creating, since He has all of time. What is the
advantage to a God that lives forever, if it takes
millions, or billions of years, instead of six days,
when time means nothing to Him? It doesn't matter how
long it takes. He still has eternity to exist, so that
is no argument at all.
Isn't it possible that he used evolution as his fashioning tool?
Not according to His word.
God doesn't have any literal words. His word is within us.
Throw away that book of non-sequiturs.
No thank you. I'll keep it. The fact is, you wouldn't
even be talking about God, if "that book" wasn't
around. You got the idea to argue about the creation,
from "that book" and now you wish to act as if it
doesn't exist? That's a contradictory argument.
The results are more natural that way.
God is supernatural.
The supernatural does not exclude the natural.
I didn't say it did. Nature is here, there is no
doubt. But by definition, it supersedes the natural.
You are trying to claim that God can create the
universe from nothing, but cannot supersede the laws of
nature. The laws of nature didn't exist. So you are
saying that He can create them, which isn't a natural
event and yet, cannot supersede them? That doesn't
make sense. That is not a "natural" conclusion.
Why wouldn't He create in such a
way?
Because you're so impressed with his awesomeness that you couldn't stand it

It is never "ordinary and simple" for a Being to create
something from nothing.
And why would evolution be, "more natural" for a

You're going to put a hole in your floor if you don't stop.
I'm saying that god uses nature as one of his tools.
To do otherwise would merely be an ego trip, not an act of love.
Create means to be creative. Conjuring something up on a whim is not
creative.
It is merely impulse. Humans are impulsive. God is patient.
Creating means to cultivate something over a period of time.
Even humans do that when they cultivate their gardens.
Would a gardener cultivate a garden by going out and buying the whole garden
complete from a plant nursery?
All good things take time.

Christianity is the state of the art in pagan religions, any one who has
looked into it will conclude the same.
Their little god of theistic evolution is incapable of special creation or

If miracles can happen then god is capable of creating a world where life

If you want confusion, read the bible. The greatest story ever sold.

Spontaneous generation, that life arose from

On the contrary... it's been observed and proven
beyond any doubt. You might as well deny gravity.
Since you have made a positive claim, I will now ask
you to back it up.
Don't be lazy - You're just as capable of reading some real science as
I am. If you're prepared to be informed rather than sticking to your
prejudices, then you'll benefit from that much more than from reading
anything I could write.

The Even Sadder Little God
Those who profess to be Christians and adhere to the doctrine of a supernatural
creation have a sad little god who cannot deliver. They worship what they know
not and what turns out to be a mixture of inaccurate science and superstition,
which is of course stupidity.
Their little god of a supernatural creation is such an idiot that the had to
say, "So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all
the beasts of the field. But for Adam no suitable helper was found" (Gen 2:20).
Oh really now? God had to search for a "helper" before discovering that He
forgot to make one? If Adam had been created with sexual organs, what would
their original intended purpose be if it wasn't to have sex with a "helper"?
God ain't the brightest God in the universe, is He? Duh!
Then there are the thorny issues of evolution that Christians cringe in fear
when mentioned, issues like why do men have nipples or why do humans have tail
bones (otherwise called the coccyx).
The simple biological-evolutionary answer to the nipple problem is that as
embryos, we are all structurally female at first and only later on during fetal
development do the male hormones kick in and modify the feminine genital
structures into the masculine. Nevertheless we men are still left with useless
breast tissue and nipples, which never get the hormonal signal at puberty to
develop into functioning organs. The whole thing seems a messy and
cobbled-up system for producing two sexes, which means if a God designed this
kluge, He is clearly an incompetent God.
As for the coccyx, x-rays demonstrate it most certainly looks just like a
rudimentary tail. Certainly it serves no legitimate purpose and if you've ever
broken tail bone, you've probably wondered why a God would be stupid enough to
create such a useless source of potential agony.
But then the mindless Christians will say, "Satan created all of these things in
order to deceive us into believing in an old earth". If so, then obviously Satan
did a better job at his re-creation then God did at his creation. Satan left no
stone unturned in his effort to hide the evidence of a creation, while the best
that God could do was dedicate two chapters to it in an ancient textbook filled
with contradictions and inaccuracies. Satan must be not only more intelligent
than God, he must also be more powerful.
Talk about unrealistic, why would a God, any intelligent God, create the world
complete with built-in weathering patterns, millions of years of sedimentary
deposits, crude-oil deposits, and fossils...all in six days? Why? What would be
the point in making the earth look as though it actually were 4.5 billion years
old?
Yes, the even sadder little God of creationism cannot help them for He obviously
is too stupid to help Himself. The question is: Why sacrifice your mind just so
you can believe in that religious nonsense?

for all of eternity, if you don't believe He so tenderly loved the world"

1. Your argument that Gensis contains "inaccurate science" is absurd.
The account in Genesis was never intended to be a scientific account.
in the first place.
2. Your argument that Genesis contains "superstition" is absurd. There
is nothing superstitious about believing in God. Rather it is
superstitious to cling to atheism.
3. You argument that Genesis contains "stupidity" is absurd. God said,
let there be light, and there was light. Can you create light out of
nothing? If you are smarter than God, why can He do that, and you
cannot?
I believe in a supernatural Creator and I see no contradiction between

You got it backwards.
Who made you the expert?
The Bible is what all Christian religions are based on --
not the other way around.
False.
Without the Bible, there would be no way to know that
Jesus ever existed and therefore no Christian religion would have been able to
form.
Then there was no Christian religion until many years after the
accounts in the New Testament. In fact, by your "logic," there could
not have been any Church at all whose doings are recorded in the Book
of Acts, because the Book of Acts had not yet been written when those
doings were taking place.
You might want to rethink that particular "argument."
So obviously your alternate blind faith belief
wasn't the whole target of my post, just a partial one.
I have no Faith beliefs that are not reasonable.
I never said you didn't.
I do not believe

Since that isn't a valid, verfiable, scientific fact, it is a perfect example of
the blind Faith I was talking about. Thank you for proving my point.
If you only believe in what is "valid, verifiable, scientific fact,"
then I do not see how it is possible for you to believe in love. If
you do not believe in love, then you are simply in darkness.
So by that token, it is you who believes blindly. You believe
blindly that Christians are your intellectual inferiors, even to the
point of accusing them of believing what they do not understand -- as
if to say you did understand.
Wrong again. I never said or claimed that Christians were my intellectual
inferiors. You are lying...which makes you my moral inferior.
What does it mean, then, when you accuse us of believing what we do
not understand? Do you also believe what you do not understand? Or are
you more clever than us? Can't be both.
By the way, your javascript web page, while undoubtedly more clever
than clever, also doesn't work.
That's your fault, not mine. Learn to use a browser and you won't have a problem

Whichever line it is that is supposed to make words appear on the
page. Maybe my copy of Netscape 7.1 is corrupt, but every other page I
go to that uses JScript seems to work fine. Why don't you download
Netscape 7.1 and try it out for yourself? Enough people use Netscape
that this should be a concern for you.
No matter, because it prevents people from reading
whatever it is you think you have to say, and I'm sure it gives you
diversion. Of course, anyone can find the text of your pages by simply
viewing the source code -- but why bother?
Since you are the only one who can't do something as simple as view a webpage,
the only loss I have is you...so what?
It doesn't matter to me,and if that doesn't matter to you, then you
are right -- so what?
But no matter, my prediction is that

My analysis is that you would say that whether you read it or not, therefore you

Oooohhh! The "liar" call! And so soon! Usually you smarter-than-thou

Oh, so you aren't a stranger to that accusation! If the shoe fits, wear it then!
I do not lie. I have no reason to lie. I do get accused of it, though.
Again -- so what? Your accusation above is not even logical. The word,
"therefore" is supposed to indicate that what follows it derives
logically from what preceded it, but you did not use it that way at
all.
You really should choose a more descriptive handle, like maybe, "The

superstitious about this, and of course it would be stupid to think
there was.
Your belief isn't based on the Bible (Genesis) so therefore your belief
isn't
Christian and neither are you.
The Bible itself is based on the true Religion, which I profess (I am
Roman Catholic). Systems of belief based solely on the Bible are a
subset of Christianity. There is another subset of Christianity that
comprises authentic Christianity, that subsists in the Catholic
Church.
You got it backwards.
Who made you the expert?
The Bible is what all Christian religions are based on --
not the other way around.
False.
Without the Bible, there would be no way to know that
Jesus ever existed and therefore no Christian religion would have been
able to
I do not believe
anything blindly. Rather it is true that Faith gives sight to the
blind.
Since that isn't a valid, verfiable, scientific fact, it is a perfect
example of
the blind Faith I was talking about.
Learn to use a browser and you won't have
a problem
(you might try enabling javascript or making sure you have the latest
browser).
Actually, I am using Netscape 7.1, and your knowledge of Javascript is
what lacks.
Please state which line of Javescript is incorrect then. One will do.
Especially
the one that keeps your browswer from allegedly not working.
Since you are the only one who can't do something as simple as view a
webpage,
the only loss I have is you...so what?
It doesn't matter to me,and if that doesn't matter to you, then you
are right -- so what?
But no matter, my prediction is that
there's not much there worth reading to begin with.
My analysis is that you would say that whether you read it or not,
therefore you
are a liar.
Oooohhh! The "liar" call! And so soon! Usually you smarter-than-thou
types hold off at least a couple of posts before pulling that card. It
speaks of desperately having run out of arguments. In your case, we
never even began.
Oh, so you aren't a stranger to that accusation! If the shoe fits, wear
it then!
I do not lie. I have no reason to lie. I do get accused of it, though.
Again -- so what? Your accusation above is not even logical. The word,
"therefore" is supposed to indicate that what follows it derives
logically from what preceded it, but you did not use it that way at
all.
You really should choose a more descriptive handle, like maybe, "The
Sophist." A true Sage would never waste his time posting on basically
Christian newsgroups, spouting anti-christian rhetoric. he would have
better things to do with his time and with his life.
I don't take advice from people who can't even point and click to a
webpage and
view it. What *do* they teach kids today?
As you said, if the shoe fits...

The Even Sadder Little God
Those who profess to be Christians and adhere to the doctrine of a supernatural
creation have a sad little god who cannot deliver. They worship what they know
not and what turns out to be a mixture of inaccurate science and superstition,
which is of course stupidity.
I take issue with your apparent lumping of all Christians together
with six-day-creationists.
Since it is only apparent, your issue isn't real. If I had literally meant to
target only six-day-creationists, I would have specificlly mentioned them as
six-day-creationists.
Then your arrogance is yet more extensive than I had previously
surmised. My bad.
Your delusion of my alleged arrogance is not the issue here, the laugable
supernatural creation account which is full of inaccurate science, superstition,
and stupidity is. Why don't you attack the argument I gave instead of attacking
me...unless you can't competent attack my argument and therefore you must attack
me. In that case, I fully understand.
What I never understand is the fully Quoxotic quest that people of
your sort seem to engage in here. If you don't believe in
religion--or at least the Catholic version--what do you waste your
time here for? Do you also post in the alt.literature.fairy-tales in
order to convince those there that their stories aren't true? Or do
you simply have so little to live for on your own accord that you
necessarily must come here in an attempt to ridicule others to make
yourself feel larger than you are? Go tilt at windmills elsewhere,
where you bother no-one.
I believe in a supernatural Creator and I see no contradiction between
this Faith and the idea that He created the Universe over the course
of billions of years. There is nothing inaccurate, or unscientific, or
superstitious about this, and of course it would be stupid to think
there was.

Your scholarship is astoundingly inaccurate. There are many
historical sources that discuss Jesus that are not included in the
Bible.
You really should choose a more descriptive handle, like maybe, "The
Sophist." A true Sage would never waste his time posting on basically

And why should we take anything seriously from one who has nothing
better to do with his life than to tell people that their faith is
mis-placed?

It isn't a waste of time to me. Maybe it is a waste of time for you but don't
assume it therefore must be a waste of time for everyone else.
Do you also post in the alt.literature.fairy-tales in

Oh your God! You mean this isn't alt.literature.fairy-tales? I don't see anyone
in alt.literature.fairy-tales preaching a delusion of the factual truth of their
fairytales.
Or do
you simply have so little to live for on your own accord that you

I don't ridicule anyone unless the ridicule me first. What goes around comes
around, eh? I am simply here in the pursuit of truth and leading others to the
truth. Someday I hope to take my pursuit to the ends of the Earth.

Enlighten me, then, oh great Sage. Pray tell: What wondrous jollies
do you receive by involving yourself in something you don't even
believe in?

I'm sorry. I hadn't realized that this group had emailed you
preaching a sermon of conversion. On behalf of the rest of us, I
apologize. Does that make you feel better?

God speed. But just as we cannot prove God, neither can you disprove
Him. So Truth seems unknown, at best.
