The shocking truth is that Jesus said the time had come, that [the
kingdom of God], [the resurrection], and the [judgment] were at hand in
His [generation], the 1st century. This study is about that. (All
quotes from the ESV, my favorite translation)

[The kingdom of God] :
Mat 3:1-3 Now in those days John the Baptist came preaching in the
deserted places of Judea, and saying, Repent! For the kingdom of
Heaven has drawn near. For this is he spoken of by Isaiah the prophet,
saying: "The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of
the Lord! Make His paths straight!" [ Isa. 40:3 ]
"The kingdom of Heaven has drawn near"...
Mar 1:14-15 And after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee
proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time has
been fulfilled, and the kingdom of God draws near. Repent and believe
in the gospel.

Jesus sent the Helper to the generation in His time, because Jerusalem
was soon to be judged because they did not believe in Him:
Luk 11:31 The queen of the South will rise up at the judgment with the
men of this generation and condemn them, for she came from the ends of
the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something greater
than Solomon is here.
"This generation and condemn them"...The generation that would not
hear the Messiah:
Luk 11:32 The men of Nineveh will rise up at the judgment with this
generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah,
and behold, something greater than Jonah is here.
Why that generation?:
Joh 3:19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world,
and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their deeds
were evil.

Speaking of "generation", what generation, who was Jesus talking
to?...Well, He was talking to those he was among, saying "this"
generation...makes sence, ha.

*If they were not talking to "this" generation, they said "that", or
"his". I know this may come as a shock, but Jesus was speaking to those
he was amongst, a generation of vipers. When you begin to see
everything else is behind us, all that is left is to love one
another...and thats a beautiful thing, it really is. The truth shall
set you free.
Mat 16:27-28 For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in
the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according
to what he has done. Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here
who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his
kingdom."
Compare translations, use a Strong Concordance, pray for
understanding. If you really seek truth, seek it like Donald Trump
seeks gold. Open your mind and chase it down. Stay in the word
everyday...and put away the teachings of men. Most importantly...Love
God and other people.

now..." in reference to prophetic events.

indicated in statements like "there is an end. There is the end."
You think it was over.

It is very dangerous to impose definite, limited
interpretations on statements like this, not made
by yourself.
A particular evil, for example, can be predicted for the
future, but can also be already commenced, to some
degree, at the present time
Also, you can talk about 'generation' in terms of time or
in terms of its characteristics or in terms of both. I can
meaningfully say, for example, that the generation that
created the capitalist merchant class in the 17th century
still rules the world today.

There was no resurrection of the dead in 70AD.
Matthew 27:52-53 (KJV)
And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept
arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went
into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
This didn't happen in 70AD. This was THE resurrection of the DEAD.
Those that follow and believe, already have eternal life.
There is no such thing as the resurrection of the living.
