The sodomy FRAUD E |
Where do we find truth about what God calls sin? Of course, we go to
God's word, the Bible. So, when we read an English version of the
Bible we are met with a challenge. Notice the definitions found in two
English dictionaries on "sodomy":
"sodomy...anal intercourse or intercourse with an animal" The Newbury
House Dictionary of American English C1999
"1 : copulation with a member of the same sex or with an animal
2 : noncoital and especially anal or oral copulation with a member of
the opposite sex" The Merriam-Webster online
"Any of various forms of sexual intercourse held to be unnatural or
abnormal, especially anal intercourse or bestiality." The American
Heritage Dictionary of the English Language
Now, none of those definitions fit the religious idea of "sodomy". Two
of the three to not even see the definition as including only
same-gender sex. So, to find the real definition of "sodomy", we must
go to the Bible if we are talking about sin. Guess what, there is no
sin of sodomy in the Bible!
Are you a lover of your same gender? Are you the caring relative or
friend of a same gender lover? Please study these posts carefully.
Watch the caliber of the answers that will be posted against these
studies and see that they change the subject because they cannot
answer the plain fact, the Bible knows no sin called "sodomy" nor
sinners called "sodomites". May God bless the work here to his glory

But that is probably not the only defination. Perhaps you have skipped a
few others?

Seems pretty similar to what the Hebrew Ve et zakar lo shakab mishkab
ishshah tow`ebah he clearly describes. What is your point?

And exactly what is the 'religious' idea of sodomy? You have not provided
any defination of the 'religious' idea of sodomy from which to make a
determination.
Two

sin of sodomy in the Bible!
There is no sin called blackmail in the Bible either, but do you honestly
want to say that this is proof that blackmail does not transgress the
clear statues of the 8th Commandment?

And, now it appears, the reason for these evasions, distortions,
obfuscations, and sophomoric exegesis masquerading as scholarship: you
would offer comfort to those who take same gender lovers. Well, so would I,
but I will first warn them of the truth of God's word. The stakes are high,
and the prize is one's eternal destiny.

You may believe whatever you wish about the Bible, what it teaches, about
homosexuality. But, to repent of one's sin means to agree with God, and you
would be well advised to consider whether God will stamp your statements
here with his imprimatur.
