Object: THE TWO FLOOD STORIES
Most biblicists don't realize their Bible contains TWO DIFFERENT
stories about Noah and the Flood, conflated into one by an editor.

Title: Re: THE TWO FLOOD STORIES 26 Nov 2003 12:09:56 AM
Is Noah's flood a localised flood or a world wide phenomena? Noah was
called to gather a pair sample of all animals in the world for the Ark. But
how was Noah going to reach to kangaroos and koala bears of Australia?
And the bisons and alligators of South America, and the Panda bear of
China?
What year did the flood take place? Some calculation says it was 2300 BC.
At this time, did all the Egyptians perish in the flood? If so how did the
Egyptian Civilisation started again when there were no survivors? Also the
Chinese Civilisation was already flourishing splendidly since 5000 BC. Why
was the flood not recorded in Chinese History? Apparently we saw no
interruption in the Chinese culture in the Chinese Historical Record.
Also if the flood had drowned population in Cities of Ur, Babylon
and in Egypt and elsewhere, why were their bones never found? When Mt
Vesuvius destroyed Pompeii and Herculeum, evidence of human bodies were
everywhere. So what happened to the bones of those who died in Noah's
flood?
What about dinosaur? Where do they stand? Did they die in the flood?
Hope someone can help me with these questions.
Thanks
Khoon.
