Today's Pentecostalism was started by a woman... but women are not allowed to speak in church 1 Cor. 14:34,35 |
" Let the women keep silent in the churches; for they are not
permitted to speak, but let them subject themselves, just as the Law
also says.
And if they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own
husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church. "
1 Cor. 14:34,35

as the Apostle Paul closes this chapter all about speaking in
tongues he concludes his discourse by saying women are simply not
permitted to speak but to keep silent in the churches. this he refers,
to tongue outbursts from women.
this meant nothing to a woman named Agnes Ozman, however.
history credits her as the official first lady of speaking in
church, and in speaking in tongues in church, though acting contrary
to the God she's pretending to worship.
here's a glimpse of that history...
" Although the 1896 Shearer Schoolhouse Revival in Cherokee County,
North Carolina may rightfully be regarded as the literal beginning of
the modern Pentecostal movement, the remoteness of this region very
likely played a role in this event remaining localized for so long.
Around 1901, however, Pentecostalism was to stand on a larger
stage, as that was when Agnes Ozman received the gift of tongues
(glossolalia) during a prayer meeting at Charles Fox Parham's Bethel
Bible College in Topeka, Kansas in 1901.
Parham, a minister of Methodist background, formulated the doctrine
that tongues was the "Bible evidence" of the Baptism of the Holy
Spirit. Further, Pentecostals point to the "upper room" experience of
the gathered disciples of Jesus as described in Acts 2:1 and Peter's
instructions in Acts 2:38 as justification for their practices. "

everybody knows that the social gospel is a gospel of good works for
the forgiveness of sin. it pleases the itching ear because it exalts
man by giving him the boast of the flesh so he can say he chose
Christ. receiving Christ is not by the will of man. Joh. 1:13
this of course stands opposed to the words of Jesus who says " you
have not chosen Me, but I chose you " Joh. 15:16
this sort of easy access to the kingdom of heaven is obviously based
on works and not grace. it rejects the Bible doctrine of election by
the will of God and makes election by the will of man.
to make election by the will of man tenable, perversion of His Holy
Word is necessary with every doctrine connected to the doctrine of
election by grace alone.
such is the case here. all the ' signs and wonders ' congregations
prove themselves by proclaiming a gospel of works as the means to
salvation. these are brainwashed into thinking that speaking in
tongues proves one is filled with the Holy Spirit.
and if you think brainwashing isn't happening in ' sign and wonder '
congregations then do a little homework and you'll find it's true and
based on what's called ' religious ecstasy. '

tongues today are not of God, also proven by women speaking in
tongues in church assemblies. these things come from their own mind
and even if an educated shepherd is leading this flock, he ought to
know this is sin... but he approves of such... which also is sin.

If one were to read where the deciples spoke in tongues at pentecost
(the first recieving of the holy spirit) The deciples spoke in their
own tongue and all other tongues heard it in their own language. So The
Holy Spirit opened the ears so all could hear and know what was said.
