The Trap of Intelligence and Education
Perhaps you have noticed, over the years, that there are a very large
number of men and women in our world, in our nation, in our state, even
in our city who have a great Intelligence and Education - and cannot
find Truth with a shovel and a strainer. Clinton, Hitler, Saddam, Ted
Turner and yes, even Santa Claus.
There are the Great Minds of our race that have discovered how to
practice illogic - and follow sophistry into darkness. Confucius,
Goethe, Descartes, Espinosa, the list is near endless.
There are Great Minds who, as David did, gaze upon the magnificence of
the heavens which declare the glory of God - and see only Big Bang
Sophistry. Father Lemaitre, James Hutton, Jastro, Percy Seymour, Clark,
Dr. Sten Odenwald, et al ad infinitum.
There those with Intelligence and Education, like Luke, who consider the
body and flesh of mankind, who create cures for disease - and fall
victim to the lie of evolution. Thales, Empedocles of Agrigentum,
Darwin, and need I say more?
Religion is top heavy, over burdened, with men of Great Minds who cannot
find Truth, lost in the glare of their own minds. Atheism: Michael
Martin (ed. The Impossibility of God), Martin, Michael (Atheism: A
Philosophical Justification) Preterism: Michael A. Fenemore, Anne Rice,
D.H. Hume, et al. Millennialism: John Nelson Darby, C I Scofield, Hal

Yes, I have done some little reading of various philosophers. But I am
not a student of philosophy.
Philosophers study Descartes in Philosophy 101. He is where Western
philosophy starts. He was also a brilliant mathematician and there would be

I did not suggest that he was anything less than brilliant.
However, being Brilliant by itself, is worthless. Some of the world's
most evil people were, and are, "brilliant."
Perhaps I have made a mistake to include Descartes in my list - I will

Certainly... but not to mis-use to deny Him.
Intelligence and education are God given gifts.
Intelligence is a gift of God.
Education certainly can be... if education is not indoctrination and
brain washing propaganda.
Intelligence is like bone and muscle -- it can be used to give life, or
commit murder.
Education is like food or water, which can make one healthy, or kill.
Intelligence and education are not bad, any more than a nice suit or
dress, or a bed, is bad. But clothing can make one self confident, or
arrogant and prideful, A bed can be used in marriage, or adultery - just
as a hammer can be used to build a house - or tear one down.
Nothing is bad in and of itself.
Everything can be used for good, or evil.

minds in a state of ignorance, who envy the respect given those who
attain an education and demonstrate intelligence. These often become
bold and spiritually arrogant when some heretic preacher pats them on the
back and tells them their sin is greatness. They will, of course, end up
roasting in hell along with their heretic leaders for the sins of envy
and spiritual pride. Watch that last one. It's the one that got Lucifer
his current employment.

No person blessed by God by any native intelligence would "deliberately"
render themselves "stupid."
"Stupidity" and "Ignorance" are NOT the same thing...
"Stupid," you ignoramus, means "not intelligent" (a limit of mental
ability - a genetic defect) and has nothing to do with "education." If
you were both "intelligent" AND "Educated" you would know that fact.
Therefore you are NOT EITHER intelligent OR Educated.
Which means you are ignorant... no matter how well educated you may
claim to be.
If you weren't ignorant, I could discuss what Festus meant when he spoke
