True violence in the heart of Gays who claim to want tolerance
Saltnlight
March 4, 2005
Evangelizing team from Wisconsin Christians United encounters hatred.
After leaving Christian literature at homes throughout a certain city,
the pair stood on a busy street, holding signs which read "Homosexuality
is Sin" and "Christ Can Set You Free." After a short time, a car with
two individuals stopped near the picketers. According to eyewitnesses,
one of the car's occupants approached the picketers yelling obscenities.
Then the man allegedly began assaulting the Christians.
The director of WCU, Ralph Ovadal, says this is not the first time his
group has seen what he calls "this very, very violent heart of the
homosexual movement." Despite the ugliness of that exhibition, he feels
there is a certain benefit to be gained from such confrontations.
"There's an awful lot of people that are deceiving themselves," Ovadal
says, "thinking [that] on this particular issue we can strike a happy
balance, and we can coexist with both sides in this thing, and we can
all be happy and just get on with life -- and it's just not true."
According to the Wisconsin pro-family leader, such intolerant reactions
to Christian expressions are common. "We hear it over and over and
over," he says, "that our speech is not legitimate, it incites, it's
something that's violent in and of itself, and, if we insist on
continuing to preach what we preach. we should be put in jail."
Still, Ovadal says, in many such confrontations, the Christians have
encountered fair-minded and dutiful law-enforcement officials. "I will
say this -- in Burlington, as in so many other places, we met some very
good police officers ... some very godly police officers out there, and
they did their job," he notes. "They were upset by what happened, and
we're hoping that their eyes were opened as well to what's going on in
our culture."
A suspect has been arrested in connection with the Burlington assault,
and Ovadal says police are investigating the altercation. Despite that
incident, the WCU leader says members of his group will soon be back in
Burlington, handing out more literature.
It has been my belief that with all the desire for trying to work things
out peaceably there are many more who want a fight. They want to hurt
especially Chriatians who dare to tell them the truth.

Why don't they stand on the street corner with signs that state "Capitalism
is GREED, the ROOT OF ALL EVIL" and "Christ can set you free" or would that
be too cowardly on their part, since then they would have businessmen,
CEO's, corporate types and society then yelling obscenities at them and they
couldn't bear that much ridicule? You know it is easy to pick on a certain
group of sinners, while neglecting and denying the sin in themselves and the
greatest sin and evil of all humanity, governments, and people.
Matt 7:1-5
7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure
ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but
considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine
eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then
shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
KJV
1 Tim 6:10
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted
after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with
many sorrows.
KJV
Matt 6:24
24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love
the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot
serve God and mammon.

The interesting thing is how selective some people are with sins. It
was only in the last 600 years where the idea of charging interest on a
loan was considered acceptable; prior to that, it was classed as
usuary, and a considered terrible sin.
Interesting how once money gets involved, things that were considered
sinful are now all ok.

I wonder how many of those 'payday loanshark, er, advance' places are owned
by Christians. The effective APR on many of those loans is often several
hundred percent.

Now why would Christians go out of their way to antagonzie people?
If some reacted so negatively that these Christians were to die, I'd
feel sorry for them but I'd wonder what they were attempting to
accomplish by antagonizing people.
Besides, are these Christians really Christian? They are more like
"***** stirrers". They want to stir up confrontation. So they get it.
And if they die from their stupidity, they may end up in heaven, may end
up in hell, but they will most certainly be dead.

Yes. Thank you for refreshing my vocabulary. :-)
These idiots remind me of the two Christin ministers working in
Afghanistan during the Taliban days. They were explicitly told not to
preach Christianity, so what do they do? Preach Christianity. So what
happens? They are kidnapped.
Fortunately for these 2 women there were released unharmed. But if they
had been murdered, well...they were warned.
The world is not fair. Sometimes people don't want to be bothered by
others. When you antagonize people, you may get away with it most of
the time. Sometimes you pay a price for being foolish.
Flicking through the AM dial a while back I stopped at a Christian
station. There the hosts were waxing fondly about new uncharted
territory for them to spread their message of Christianity...Uruguay. I
wondered why these Uruguayians needed to be preached to about
Christianity. These simple people have been living for centuries
without it. Some people like Christians just like to stick their noses
in other peoples business. Well, if they are murdered or hurt, I'll
feel sorry for them but will wonder why they were going where they
weren't wanted or needed.

Most ot the populace is Catholic; Fundie Christians consider Catholics
Pagans.
What is even funnier is this; the Pope thinks he leads the church; talk
to any Catholic, how many of them use contraception? I'd say if you
took out everyone who did their own thing, you'd be lucky to have
atleast 50million Catholics.

Today's word of the day is "martyrdom." Can you say "martyrdom"? Can you
use it in a sentence?
Yes. Thank you for refreshing my vocabulary. :-)
These idiots remind me of the two Christin ministers working in
Afghanistan during the Taliban days. They were explicitly told not to
preach Christianity, so what do they do? Preach Christianity. So what

Nitpick: That should be "pagans" with a small "p" since the word is being
used in its generic sense of "followers of any religion that predates the
one currently in power" rather than referring to a specific set of beliefs
involving Godess worship, etc.

Let me get this straight. A group of 'christians' went, out of their
way, to deliberately harass the gay community, and some members
of the gay community decided to fight back, and you think that
displays the violence in the heart of the gays.

Homosexuals are not in favor of free speech for heterosexuals.
Homosexuals now control the government in kanada and are slowly
but surely shutting down any speech that is critical of their
perversion and promiscuity. Don't let what has happened in kanada
happen in the US.

The Canadian Hate Speech legislation specifically exempts religious
speech from prosecution. WBT and his friends have been told this
numerous times, and provided references to that effect, but they
prefers to spread hysteria, based on blatantly false articles
published by right wing religious extremist pamphlets and websites to
boost or retain their membership and cash flow.
I still think it is amazing that these rags insist on publishing
things which they know can be easily proved false. I guess it's just
their inbred propensity to lie, coupled with low moral character.

Blatant lie as you know they are not permitted to marry the unrelated,
consenting adult of their choice [except in one state].

Are you now claiming that two unrelated, consenting, heterosexual
adults can not marry in Mass.? Can you provide any proof of this assertion?

Bzzzzzzzzzt! Wrong again! Sure they can and they have been doing it
for years. However, 49 of the states have concluded or are in the
process of concluding by a consensus of the people's governmental
representatives that there is no compelling reason to RECOGNIZE such

No, have you a reading problem? I'm saying in my opinion, in some
geographical regions unmarried homosexuals are allowed special rights
that unmarried heterosexuals have no access to. If you are interested
