Two Ways to Get Our Troops OUT of Iraq - **NOW** !! |
There are two ways to get our troops OUT of
Iraq - **NOW** !!
There's a good way and bad way.
First - the BAD way. That's the way it was done
this last week. 43 of them were killed. Thus, fully 43
of them *immediately* got out of Iraq. But the problem
with doing it that way is that it's rough on their families
and probably is rock bottom on the list of priorities that
most soldiers would have by way of methods of redeploy-
ment out of there. And too, it would take 'way too long.
At that rate -- around 5,000 per year -- it would take over
25 years to get them all out of Iraq. Warmonger-in-Thief
Bush is probably the *only* person who'd like to see us
being stuck there for that long.
Then there's the GOOD way: Congress immediately
and with the full force of law totally DE-FUNDS the war,
with the sole exception of the amount of money that it
would take to IMMEDIATELY get **all** of our troops
out of these, and back to America safely. That would
save countless of our soldiers' lives, and enable the
USA to regain some of the respect it lost worldwide
when the a-hole who stole the White House illegally
invaded another sovereign nation after LYING to every-
one in order to CON them into supporting his idiocy.
Some people disagree with the latter method. It
would be interesting to know how many of those same
people also are bone-dumb enough to be RRR Cult
lemmings.

Here is a good example of how Fox ³NEWS² is ³fair and balanced.²
Today, it was ³discovered² that the Bush White House and the Pentagon

Please Honest Ray, I said nothing about *who* controls the media, I said:
"its about a bunch of elitists who want to tell American how and what to
think ... these elitist reside on the 'left'" ... I stand by that:
In the most recent survey, 40% of journalists described themselves as being
on the left side of the political spectrum (31% said they were "a little to
the left" and 9% "pretty far to the left"). But that number was down
notably, seven percentage points from 1992, when 47% said they leaned
leftward.
The percentage of "middle of the roaders" moved up slightly to 33% in 2002
from 30% in 1992. And the number of journalists identifying themselves
leaning toward the political right also inched up to 25% from 22% a decade
earlier (20% "a little to the right" and 5% "pretty far to the right").
The findings, interestingly, stop a trend of newsrooms becoming more liberal
that the authors detected between 1982 and 1992.
And: The research from Weaver and his colleagues echoes the findings of a
Pew Research Center survey from 2004 revealing that while the majority of
journalists described themselves as moderate, they were clearly to the left
of the public. One example was that journalists were considerably more
willing to say that society should accept homosexuality than the average
citizen was. http://www.journalism.org/node/2304
And note that "journalists described themselves as moderate, they were
clearly to the left of the public" ... CLEARLY TO THE LEFT OF THE PUBLIC.
One thing can be said is that the trend is more toward the right. Also top
colleges the journalism schools are overwhelmingly filled with Democrats:
Columbia Univ 15 Dems - 1 Rep, New York U 8 Dems - 2 Rep, Northwestern
University 12 Dems - 3 Rep, Ohio Univ 9 Dems -2 Rep, Syracuse Univ 27 Dem -
6 Rep, Univ of Cal, Berkeley 10 Dems - 0 Rep, Un of Kan 8 Dems - 10 Rep,
Univ NC 18 Dem - 4 Rep, Univ So Calif 13 Dem - 1. The only journalism
school that had more Republicans was Univ of Kansas. There are profs that
listed themselves as Nonpartisan, and some didn't register.

Oh, David you are getting just like Honest Ray, slamming the article rather
than what it says ... the quotes from Hans Blix/Harry Reed/Albright etc.
Its not important here that the people that as you say 'were actually
there', but it was very important to believe R. Clarke because he was there.
Yes you are so inconsistent in your argument its hard to believe anything
you say. Things that are important to you are the things that support only
your point of view/opinon ... very closed minded approach. I've taken your
views/quotes into consideration and even believed some ... Richar Clarke ...
but your mind is made up ...
Of course, you are in denial.
No, you are as can be seen by your inconsistencies.

Pay attention Honest Ray, Iraq was invaded because it was thought by
most
everyone that Saddam had WMD's ... violations of the agreement that
ended
the Gulf war etc.
Bush never ³thought² that.
Not only Bush thought that, but many in the previous administration and
many
Say, where is phase two of the Senate Report of Pre-war Intelligence
on Iraq? The one where the Senate was going to look at how the Bush
administration (mis)used the intelligence?
Honest Ray, I don't know ...
"I don't know" is a damn poor reason for killing people.
I agree, Honest Ray.
And yet you still want to kill people.

Bush actually predicted that oil revenues would pay for the war and

I wouldn't say incompetent, I would say he is the 1st President of the

This may be true, but we would still be talking today most probably ...
remember how long we had already been talking. That is the trouble with
you guys you want to talk .... Something the Muslim jihadist take as
weakness which it is. Lets just keep talking about Sudan ... people are
dying every day as we've talked ... lets keep talking ... people keep dying
.... lets keep dying. But its the though isn't it ... we don't want to make
war we want to talk ... to bad if people are getting murdered every day. UN
king of talk.
