US Army plagued by desertion and plunging morale

WHILE insurgents draw on deep wells of fury to expand
their ranks in Iraq, the US military is fighting desertion,
recruitment shortfalls and legal challenges from its own
troops.
Three soldiers who are seeking refugee status in Canada,
have become minor celebrities. Dominating prime time
television, they are among more than 5,000 U.S. troops
that CBS’s 60 Minutes reported on Wednesday that had
deserted since the war began.

I fail to see your logic. Because I wouldn't want to die for British
Imperialism or Judeo-Marxism, I should then not object to dying for Israel?
I would be willing to fight in a war against Canada or Mexico, however.

Fragging is when an officer is deliberately killed by his own men.
AFAIK, the only incident that comes close to this was the attack in
the 101st Airborne (Air Assault) prior to the invasion.
Oh, and since you enjoy jumping to conclusions, I oppose the invasion
of Iraq. It does nothing to advance the war on terror, creates more
ill will in the region, and will result in yet another Islamic state.
And there never were WMD.
