According to accepted scientific 'evidence' this huge Universe has existed
for over 13 BILLION years and the Earth has existed for 4 BILLION of those
years.
Man has existed on this Earth between one hundred and two hundred thousands
years.
According to the Bible the Universe, Earth and all its inhabitants were
created in 6 days. Adam was created from dirt and Eve was created from Adam's
rib approximately six thousand years ago. That is quite a discrepancy from
reality!
Gods son Jesus supposedly came to Earth 2,000 years ago as a baby born of a
virgin, lived an uneventful 30 years and then preached his doctrines for
one, two or three years depending on which Bible you wish to believe. He was
then shamefully nailed to a cross, died and after three days rose from the
dead and went back to his wondrous heaven.
If this all powerful creator could create Adam from dust and Eve from Adam's
rib why did the god Jesus need to be born of a virgin, develop to adulthood
over a period of 30 years so he could preach his doctrines for one to three
years depending on which Bible you wish to believe? Why didn't this all
powerful creator of everything not just create himself instantly on earth
and then gracefully return to his heaven when he was finished
preaching his doctrines? Or why didn't he just preach to us directly from
his heaven?
Why did he not use modern communications techniques to preach to the whole
world instead of just a small segment of the world? NO original copies of
the Bibles exist. There is no way of knowing their origin, accuracy and
authenticity. Why did this all powerful creator not preserve his original
documents in some more permanent, clear and reliable form? Why did he not
provide incontrovertible evidence that these were his authentic commands and
wishes?
Why have we not heard from him again for 2,000 years? Why does he feel the
need to communicate with us through thousands of preachers of various levels
of knowledge, accuracy and veracity? How do we know which, if any, are true
and which are fakes?
There are hundreds of different god beliefs. How do we know if any are true
and which are fakes??? If there is a real god why does he not clear up all
the confusion by smiting all the false gods?
The evidence appears to be that there are no real gods.
Religion is things hoped for but not yet seen or proven. Science is things
seen and proven but not necessarily hoped for.
The objective evidence is that no gods created man but quite the opposite;
that man created imaginary gods! (thousands of them!)
