What sort of armor do you need to protect you from 'V'? |
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.atheism/browse_frm/thread/570bdb3df2db5036/6621a615f6543f25?lnk=gst&q=vindictive+v&rnum=2&hl=en#6621a615f6543f25
Ah, very clever.
Funny how people tend to fantasize and create all sort of images in
their minds about other people...isn't it.
When I first came to alt.atheism, I brought up the question about
revealing one's lack of beliefs to a family of believers.
I mentioned how my in-laws didn't like me as it was, without knowing
the additional information such as my lack of beliefs.
One atheist piped up:
"Maybe they don't like you because your are spineless (V)?"
Atheists, they are very witty and clever people aren't they.
I know that I rent much space in your heads.
But, let me put some of your overworked minds to rest.
'V' most definitely has a spine.

'V' stand for the first letter of my email address
'V' is not a Christian, although I believe in some of the Christian
ideals of charity and reciprocity, just as I use tools to be at peace
from ALL religions.

And my in-laws do not like people from California as they are from the
East Coast.
That last tidbit should register with all the atheists.
Atheist don't like Christians...'blanket prejudice' is right up their
alley as it is with my in-laws.
vfr44 was the only name I could get from aol that was in a diagonal
sequential sequence since they would not allow horizontal, sequential
key sequences such as asd, dfg, qwe, zxc without long numbers.
I have no attachment to names. Although due to a poor memory and an
interest in simplicity, I like easy to use names.
I always used to chuckle at my Buddhist friends at Esangha that
thought if the adopted some silly foreign name they were a good
Buddhist.
But then they had the problem of the right designer incense to pick
out or how many time to spin the prayer wheel?
And then you had the ones that kept shopping around for the 'right'
Buddhist avatar.
Do you know what type of avatar I use at forums?
Am I 'a self righteous twit' as one atheist called me?
One that forces my policy of 'no avatar' on others?
No, it is my natural way from the start.
People can do what they please...but I am free to comment on what they
do as well.
My point is-sometime we spend too much time gift wrapping an empty
box.
Put something into the box worth wrapping before you spend the time on
excessive decorations for the box.
Otherwise you have the likes of ...Raven, Robibnikoff, Bilbo, Michael

At that forum you can 'buy your armor' to outfit your avatar to shield
you from evil and 'trade blessings' with each other.
I like that forum as it reminds me of the 'sickness of attachment,'
BTW, what sort of armor do you need to protect you from 'V'?
Try using 'truth based' armor and we can all be on the same path of
