Object: What was the sin of Adam and Eve?
It is clear, in retrospect, that the sin of Adam and Eve was an attempt
to violate the divine copyright. That is to say, material, including genetic
material, may not be reproduced without permission of the publisher, author,
or creator of the original work. Gen 2.28-23 is the copyright, and Gen
3.1-13 was the attempted violation.
So we clearly see that copyright violation was the original sin.
How long did the divine copyright last? It lasted until after the Flood.
Therefore, Eve was optimistically mistaken about Cain (Gen 4.1). It was 1947
years from the time Adam begot Seth until Noah's sons were permitted to
reproduce (Gen 5; 7.6;8.14;9.1).
This explains the struggles of the State of Israel. The State of Israel
was reproduced in 1948. But it was destroyed in 70 C.E. not in 1 A.D., so
the divine copyright against unanthorized reproduction of the State of
Israel will not expire until the start of the year 2018.
That means that numbers of the jewish people will remain in exile for 70
years from 1948 until 2018, and only then will all jews be regathered, and
the copyright renewed.
Quod erat demonstrandum.

How long did the divine copyright last? It lasted until after the

Flood.

Therefore, Eve was optimistically mistaken about Cain (Gen 4.1). It was

No. That's not right. Forgot to include the generations from Shem to
Abraham. Then I hope it adds up to 1947. My calculator gives a different
total every time.
An alternative geneology for Adam begins with Seth. Adam and Eve were
probably just a story to explain human origins, sin, and why we don't live
in a moral or economic paradise.
My point was that Noah was the first person actually commanded to
reproduce. Everyone else was destroyed by the Flood. Why? They had infringed
the copyright.
In the Garden Story, Adam and Eve did too, by having Cain and Abel. They
could have lived indefinitely..
Abraham was the next person to be given at least implicit permission to
have children.
So the general lesson to be drawn is that reproduction is almost always an
infringement on the divine copyright, and this infringment may well have
something to do with overpopulation, economic scarcity, wars, and epidemics.

I guess.
