"After that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall
not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers
that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of
man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he
send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four
winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of
heaven."

What do you want dates? ? ? ? ?
Dark day; May 19,1780
Go ahead and look it up in your history at the library.
Stars falling, November 13, 1833
These things were observed toward the closing of the 1260 Prophetic years
of "THE GREAT TRIBULATION".
It ended in 1798 just as the bible said it would.
The Lord has had his angels doing the gathering from that day to this.
Are you part of the gathering or not?.
Misty, of the mist of the cloud of believers, witnessing of His
nearness today as yesterday, All you have to do is ask him and He is
right here knocking at your door,
Just ask Him and He will enter into your heart and dwell there as He does
in all of HIs chosen people.

Good morning to you too :-)
Are you presently in a wheelchair? What happened?
A series of strokes, about two decades ago left me pretty much paralyzed(sp)
from the neck down, my left hand barely handles my mouse, and I type by

You take care, and I hope you and yours have a great Christmas :O)
Same to you !
We are having a White one, first in Houston's recorded history, supposed to
melt away before noon :-)
Get well soon.
Thank you for the kind wish, but I'm not sick !

Dear (((((Glenn))))),
I did not know that your beloved wife passed away, but have read this
some minutes ago, and it hit my heart.
Please know how much I regret your loss. Please take my deepest sympathy
and understanding during this hard time. I know from your statements
that she must have been an amazing woman.
I am really so very sorry. Please let me know if I can do anything for
you, will you?
Praying for you and her.
In Christ,

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth.
For the first heaven and the first earth had passed away.
And the sea no longer is.
And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out
of Heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her Husband.
And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying,
Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them,
and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be
their God.
And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes.
And there will be no more death, nor mourning,
nor crying out, nor will there be any more pain;
for the first things passed away.
And He sitting on the throne said,
Behold, I make all things new.
And He said to me, Write, for these words are true and faithful.
And He said to me, It is done.
I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End.
To him who thirsts I will give of the fountain of the Water of Life
freely.
He who overcomes will inherit all things,
and I will be his God, and he will be My son.

Thank you.
Please know how much I regret your loss. Please take my deepest sympathy
and understanding during this hard time. I know from your statements
that she must have been an amazing woman.
She was, here is the Eulogy I read,,,
My wife, Mrs.Julie Martenez Flores Webb
She was born July 21, 1933 in Dau Mabalacat, Philippines
She loved all life forms, be they plant or animal, except snakes
She loved to cook Filipino, Oriental, and American
She loved the ocean, she loved to dance, and loved the music of the 40s and
50s as well as Disco
She especially loved people, always ready to lend a helping hand.
As a young girl in the Philippines she and her family took part in the
rescue of the American civilian prisoners of Los banos, near the end of
world war 2. Julie had arranged for the bunka boats, the geurrillas used to
get across Laguna De Bay in the sneak attack, she was nearly 12 years old,
and already a hero
I met Julie in 1976. I was in the Philippines in the Navy, and a friend on
my ship said he had someone he wanted me to meet, as soon as I saw her I
knew that she was the woman for me. Just two weeks later, we were engaged,
and one short month later on July 21st we were married (I was her birthday
present. Since when she was born the Philippines was a US Commonwealth, she
had always seen herself as an American, and on March 14th 1983 she became a
US Citizen
She alway had a friendly word for everyone, and made and kept friend easily.
She was more inclined to see the good in others rather than their faults
She loved her two children, seven grandchildren, and her new
great-granddaughter, as well as my family, who love her too
I know she loved me, and I her, as she was my whole life (Darn I am crying
again).
But she had suffered so much the last three years, I am releived, and at
peace that she has gone home, but I miss her
BTW, was 20 years older than me, but while my hair is almost all grey, hers
was still jet black, she was 72 !
I am really so very sorry. Please let me know if I can do anything for
you, will you?
Just keep praying for me to contnue coping, sometimes I don't see any reason
for my life any more

The women from the Phillippines really do have beautiful hair, and they
are real beauties . The people there are said to be very friendly, too.
My father was 20 years older than my mother...I do not think it is of
much importance as long as love carried you over all the trouble you had
to face.
I am really so very sorry. Please let me know if I can do anything
for you, will you?

reason for my life any more
Oh yes, Glenn. I know all hurts at the moment, and I can imagine that it
is hard to go on for you. May the Lord give you comfort and hope, and
may He strengthen you to go on. I will keepyou in prayer.
But you are doing a good job here. Listen to God what He might tell you
what to do. Give it some time. You may mourne, you do not always have to
be strong. God will show you things, Glenn.
I do not see everything the way you do, but one thing I know: You are a
great witness for God. You are in His hands, Glenn. He will not let you
go, and one day you will see your wife again, I am sure. So hold on. We
are here on our passage to Heaven, and we can never know when God will
take us home.
But there are still things to do. You are a precious Christian witness,
and so many can learn from you.
Praying for you and her.
She is with the Lord, she doesn't need prayers
:-) Okay. I think so, too.
In Christ,

(Revelation 21:1-7 MKJV)
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth.
For the first heaven and the first earth had passed away.
And the sea no longer is.
O Lord, for her sake, I hope there is some kind of ocean there...
I believe there will be everything she likes, but one thing will not be
there: darkness, tears, sorrow. There is light all the time, and there
is a big party going on forever.
And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God
out of Heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her Husband.
And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying,
Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with

I think this is one of the most beautiful passages of the Bible, and I
must always cry when I read it. It will be so beautiful there, and we
are nearly there... But until the Lord calls us home, there are things
to do. There is a reason he put you there, and left you here. It would
be good if you were not alone so much but among people.
Give yourself time, Glenn.
You are in my thoughts and in my prayers.
Be blessed,

Good morning, Glenn Are you presently in a wheelchair?
Been in one for almost two decades now
What happened?
A series of strokes which caused me to be almost totally paralyzed from
the
neck down.
You take care, and I hope you and yours have a great Christmas :O)
I had one, if I remember correctly... It was my last Christmas with my
wife,
she died July 30th 2005 of cardiac arrest.
Get well soon.
God forgive me, but I wish my wife would just come and get me
(sometimes);
BUT I also enjoy having her as my little angel, she has visited me, and
helped me a number of times, since she went on ahead
No, I don't worship her (any more than the way I did while she was with
me)
God gets all the glory, without Him, she both would have never existed,
and
we would have never meant.

and,
you can read more articles by simply backspacing to:

or, you can just read some of the literature as posted below:
'In everything I do', a young man said to me, 'I go by my knowledge
and experience. When I drive my car, I keep out of trouble by using my
wits and the agility of my body. I can't see why all of a sudden a
certain part of my life should have to be controlled by something you
call faith'.
I pointed out to him that driving his car by his wits would not
protect him from sudden mechanical failure or from the fatal
consequences of other drivers' errors. I drive my car in much the same
way as he does, but in my case there is the additional element of
faith in God's promises which protect me from hidden dangers. I have
driven a car since '46 and never had an accident. Admittedly, I. try
to drive carefully and well, but my real boast is in the Lord who
keeps me.
The basic mistake this young man, a lapsed Anglican, was making is
that he considers faith to apply to a small, rather unimportant, part
of life only. This mistake is made by many Christians as well. As an
attitude, this is completely unscriptural and moreover it thoroughly
stops the promises of God to become effective in our lives. The bible
says that faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction
of things not seen (Hebr. 11.1), and that without faith it is
impossible to please God (Hebr. 11. 6). My righteous one shall live by
faith, says the Lord, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure
in him (Hebr. 10. 38). God's pleasure means a life of righteousness,
peace and joy in all aspects of our existence, and the only way to
obtain it is by faith.
Biblical faith
When I use the word faith, let me make it quite clear that I'm not
referring to that mysterious 'gift of God' which, according to the
teaching of many churches, the Holy Spirit is supposed to create is us
when we are, equally mysteriously, born again. As the hymn puts it:
'I know not how this saving faith
< To me He did impart,
Nor how believing in his Word
Wrought peace within my heart'.
Faith in the sense of the bible is not some mysterious 'gift' but a
straightforward, fairly simple yet beautiful function of the human
spirit. Faith can be used at the human level, and indeed without faith
society would soon crunch to a halt.
When I accept a man's cheque for a hundred dollars, I exercise faith.
When, on a more elevated level, I marry the woman I love, she and I
show faith in each other.
I do exactly the same when I act on the word of God. The difference is
in the object of my faith, and therefore in the results. Faith in my
human debtor will get me a hundred dollars; faith in God, my divine
Creator, gets me eternal life in its full sense. Another difference: a
cheque may bounce, but God's promises never fail. God is not a man,
that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should repent.
Is faith that simple?
If faith is that simple, we may ask, why do so many people find it so
extremely difficult to have faith in God? There are two reasons for
this, both of them related tothe fact that faith in God takes place in
the unseen world of the spirit.
The first reason is that God has made sharing in the fulfilment of his
promises, in the 'coming' of his Kingdom, conditional on faith. God is
spirit, and the way in which He revealed Himself to mankind is such
that sharing in the promises requires the highest possible degree of
faith. We have to take God at his Word, and even the answer to the
question whether the bible really is his revealed Word can only be
given by faith. We start off by having faith in God who is spirit, in
accordance with his Word; the tangible proof follows afterwards.
Forpeoplewho are used to live by the evidence of their senses this of
course makes faith in God more difficult than trusting the man who
hands them a cheque.
The second reason why it is difficult to have faith in God is because
ever since Adam surrendered the control of this world to the Evil One
the spiritual environment we live in is full of the voices of evil
spirits who never stop denying the Words of God and casting doubt upon
them. Faith in God has to be maintained in the face of virtually
incessant demonic contradiction.
A royal way
Rather than scaring us off, the difficulties attached to faith in God
should encourage us to keep persevering, for it is by means of the
difficulties that the highest potentials of faith in God fall within
our reach. As Paul put it: " ... we suffer with Him in order that we
may also be glorified with Him" (Rom. 8. 17). The glory is that with
Christ we shall rule the universe on God's behalf; the glory is full
and perfect identification with the Creator. Faith in God is the way
appointed by God to achieve royal dignity; it is a way fit for future
kings and lords.
Walking on water
Withoutbeing complex, faith yet has quite a few aspects. Since the
bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God, let us
have a look at a few instances of faith favourably commented upon by
Jesus. First there is the faith to walk on water. We all know the
story, and I'll refrain from quoting it here. If you want to refresh
your memory I suggest you read Matthew 14.
Even in the gospels walking on water is not an everyday occurrence. It
is remarkable that the Lord Jesus prepared Himself for this event by
climbing up a mountain to pray by Himself. Peter, too, sensed the
extraordinary character of the situation when the Lord approached them
walking over the waves. Instead of jumping out of the boat and sharing
in the Lord's mastery of the laws of nature, he carefully asked the
Lord to tell him to join Him. Only then did he step overboard and, not
amazingly, the wind and the waves still scared him. It took Jesus'
reassuring hand for Peter to get back to safety of the boat.
Paul mighthave been thinking of walking on water when he wrote Romans
12. 3: "By the grace of God I bid every one among you not to think of
himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober
judgment, each according to the measure of faith which God has
assigned him". In the life of every full gospel Christian there are
those occasions onwhich he would like to do the impossible. And in
fact by faith in God the impossible is within reach. The decisive
question, however, is: is it the Lordwho invites us to walk on
thewaves? Where this is not the case, stepping out of the boat turns
into tempting God. Trying to do the impossible without the Lord's
consent amounts to giving in to the temptations of the Evil One
(Matth. 4. 7). In practical terms, trying to do the impossible without
having faith is tempting God, for without faith it is impossible to
please God. Or, in the words of Romans 14. 23: "Whatever does not
proceed from faith is sin".
When a child is dangerously ill, it is for the parents to decide
whether they are going to call medical help or to see it through in
faith in God's promises. In these circumstances everything depends on
the condition of the hearts of the parents. If their faith is the
joyous, expectant reaction to the voice of God they hear in his Word,
they will indeed see the impossible happen before their very eyes. "If
you believe you will see the glory of God" (John 11.40), Jesus said to
Martha, and a short while afterwards her brother Lazarus returned from
the grave.
However, if in circumstances such as these our faith is anything less
than the real thing, if it is tinged with fanaticism, if it is a mere
expression of a determined or rigid and doctrinal character, terrible
things may happen. I know of people who died in terrible pain just
because they refused to call the doctor to take away an infected
appendix, believing that the Lord was going to heal them. I know of
parents who had to appear before a court of law because they refused
medical help for their child, which consequently died.
It is not for us to judge, and undoubtedly even in these cases there
was the helping hand of Jesus in the extreme calamity. Even so, before
we make an attempt towalk on water, before we jump off the roof of the
temple, let us make sure that we have heard Jesus' invitation.
Especially if we are the fanatic, doctrinary type, letus be the more
sure that we consider Him who is the pioneer and perfecter of our
faith.
Walking on water does not occur every day, even in the life of a full
gospel Christian, but on the other hand, have you ever asked the Lord
to call you out of the boat? It is wonderful, you know, to do the
impossible together with your Lord.
Feminine faith
Faith to walk on water is a once -or-twice -in-a-lifetime event. Of
all the apostles, Peter was the only one to whom it occurred that he
might join the Lord on the waves, and even he did not repeat it.
Later, when they met the risen Lord at the sea of Tiberias , he jumped
overboard when he saw Jesus, but he had to wade ashore.
Fortunately faith in God has other sides to it which make it suitable
for daily use. Matthew 15 and Mark 7 have the beautiful story of the
Canaanite woman who asked Jesus to free her daughter of demon
possession. Rebuked and rejected by Jesus, this mother persisted and
was able to move the heart of Jesus, who healed her daughter. The very
feminine faith of this mother brings to mind the woman who touched the
hem of Jesus' garment to be healed of her haemorrhage. "O woman, great
is your faith", Jesus said to the Syrophoenician mother. "Be it done
for you as you desire".
The faith of these women is the faith that works miracles. It is a
warmtrust in the Saviour which comes straight from the heart. This
kind of faith is deeply rooted in the love of God and in trust in the
unfathomable goodness of the Father in heaven. Neither by
circumstances or shame, nor even by the seeming rebuke of the Lord,
can this warm, feminine faith be kept from going straight for its
purpose. it is the kind of faith which will always be rewarded in full
by God. Time and again the bible shows that God loves this
unconditional, loving trust in Him which these women showed. A cold
heart which does not know the personal fellowship of love will never
experience the answers to prayer these women had.
The feminine type of faith is warm and humble, yet backed by a logical
mind. The answer of the Syrophoenician to Jesus' remark about the
children's bread gave evidence of astute thinking: "Yes Lord; yet even
the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs".
if isolated from the masculine faith of the mind, this feminine faith
of the heart is in danger of becoming sentimental and undefined. Yet
in its perfect, biblical form the faith that works miracles is
something no Christian woman or man can do without.
Masculine faith
A vastly different type of faith was demonstrated by the Roman
centurion who wanted Jesus to heal his slave (Matth. 8). Not by any
means devoid of humility and trust, the faith of this Roman soldier
first and foremost was a faith of the mind, a faith of insight. Faith
is a function of the spirit, and to develop its faith the spirit will
make use of the mind. Faith comes from what is heard (Rom. 10.17), and
what is heard has to be understood and digested by the mind in order
to feed the faith of the spirit.
Somehow, the bible does not tell us how, the Roman centurion had
obtained clear and deep understanding of the relationships of
authority in the spiritual world. The signs and wonders he had seen or
heard about bore evidence to the fact that Jesus ° authority among the
spirits was obviously supreme. Thinking about these things, the
officer had struck upon the similarity between Jesus' spiritual
position and that of himself and his superiors and subordinates in the
army.
This story illustrates the strong, logical, reasoning faith of a man.
It is by this masculine faith that mountains are moved. I have heard
of people who tried to walk on water (they fell through), and of
others who felt compelled to handle poisonous snakes, but sofar I have
never heard of people who actually attempted to 'believe' a mountain
or even a hill out of its place.
In the imagery of the bible a mountain is a spiritual power. The
highest mountain of all is Mount Zion: the Holy Spirit. Saying to a
mountain: "Be taken up and cast into the sea", means commanding an
evil spirit to leave his victim (a person wholly or partially bound by
a demon) and remove himself to the abyss, the place God prepared for
Satan and his angels.
In the traditional churches the faith to walk on water and the faith
to work miracles are virtually absent. At first sight it appears as if
the churches have an ample supply of the masculine type of faith. In
their doctrines and theology they put a lot of trust in the logic of
the mind. Unfortunately, their theology does not enable them to rise
above the earthly level. Instead of moving spiritual mountains, the
masculine faith of the churches is used to hurl rocks of opposing
theological opinion at each other.
The Pentecostal movement has a fair share of the faith to walk on
water and of the faith of the heart that works miracles. In the
history of the churches it will always be the glory of the Pentecostal
movement to have rediscovered these aspects of faith in God. However,
as far as the masculine faith of insight and understanding is
concerned, Pentecost has not been able to produce much of its own.
Instead of a truly New Testamentical theology and teaching, they
borrowed the doctrines and viewpoints of bygone generations and
movements and tried to re-hash them into something truly Pentecostal.
Pentecost has moved few mountains; in part it is even blind as a bat
where mountains are concerned.
The danger of the masculine faith of the mind is rigidity and the
spiritually paralysing conviction of having the only correct view. But
the dangers and risks of the road should not keep us from setting out
on the journey.
No individual Christian or congregation will ever reach the God
appointed purpose of perfection unless they achieve a clear insight
into the spiritual world. The evil spirits which keep many Christians
bound to sin and sickness and error have to be overcome by people who
think as Jesus thought, who act as the men acted we read about in the
book of Acts. It is the masculine faith of the Roman centurion which
every Christian man and woman needs if they want to reach the eternal
purpose of God.
"Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory
of God?" (John 11, 40).
