.... make a wish :-)
I would like to hear from you all on what do you think or know about
this idea that "when you see a falling star, make a wish [and it will
come true]"; do you think it is like, uh say, kind of occultic? A form
of "free" witchcraft? astrological (i.e. dabbling in astrology)?
Where does this idea/saying come from?
Of ancient ages long past, asteriods, comets, meteors, (and pieces
thereof), and other moving space-oriented things were classified
(and/or seen) as "stars" - but that has not really changed even in
this day and age, has it? When you see a falling star, is it an
actual-literally star? I have been seeing "falling stars" (and/or
so-called) throughout my life, and at times, they look as if they were
coming right upon the Earth - if such 'stars' will actually falling
upon the Earth, I think the greatest wish would be that it has not hit
anybody - it is an interesting thing that things have fell out of the
sky and space, and has fortunately landed where no one in its
direction.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
Clifton
