WHO ARE THE "SAINTS" IN REVELATION?
Randy said, "I believe the church will not go through the
Tribulation because Tribulation saints are not the "church"
Randy uses the term "Tribulation saints" for the Brethren,
Saints, or The Elect who are seen in John's visions.
The term "Tribulation saints" is not found anywhere in the Word
of God.
The word "Saints" occurs 86 times in the DARBY, 96 times in the
KJV, and 88 times in the RSV. As far as I can determine, every
instance speaks of God's People, and none include the phrase
"tribulation saints."
Of these, in the RSV, "Saints" is used 47 in NT; and as far as I
can tell, every instance speaks of God's People.
Of the 47 in the NT, 12 are used in Revelation before chapter 19;
and every one of them is in reference to God's People, and none
include the phrase "tribulation saints."
There are three references to "the Saints" after chapter 19.
These are: 19:8; 20:9 and 22:21
Rev 19:8
"Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the
marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself
ready; 8 it was granted her to be clothed with fine linen, bright
and pure -- for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.
In this reference, "Saints" is used of all of the Saved from
Earth, The Elect, and God’s People.
20:9;
"And they marched up over the broad earth and surrounded the camp
of the Saints."
22:21;
"The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen.
The Last Words written of John to The People of God, the Saints,
is, "The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints..."
Every instance of the Word "Saints" throughout God's Word has
referred to His People, and NOT one of these included the term
"tribulation saints." Yet the false prophets of the 'rapture'
teach that the word "Saints" as used in 20:9 mean something
different than used BOTH PRIOR TO AND AFTER 20:9 in the rest of
God's Word!
The use of the word Saints in 20:9 means the same thing it does
in 5:8, 8:3, 4, 11:18, 13:7, 10, 14:12, 16:6, 17:6, 18:20, 24,
19:8 and 22:21. The Saints are God's People, the Elect, the
Witnesses, We Who Remain unto the coming of the Lord.
The Elect, The Church, is for whom these last days are shortened.
"And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh
be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be
shortened." Mt 24:22 It would be the height of folly -- if not
sheer delusion -- to suggest that the Elect are NOT on earth,
since these last days will be shortened for their sake to ensure
that some flesh will be saved.
This 'schism' is created by the false prophets of 'rapture' where
no division exist, and serves only to support a false doctrine
which is not fond in the Word of God. This lie that the Saints of
Revelation are not the Church is part of a larger lie that there
is a separation between the Church and the Nation Israel.
I have demonstrated that the Church, the Israel of God, is both
named throughout Revelation and here on earth unto the coming of
the Lord. I will not reproduce those posts here, but they are

Doctrine of Devils
As I have said before, so I say again, "the doctrine of 'the
rapture' is a Doctrine of Devils."
In a future post I will post the proof of this charge.
