Who Is Azaliah? |
Since there are some questions...
Azaliah (ats-al-yaw'-hoo) = "Jah has reserved".
Not much at all is really said about him in the Bible.
He was the father of Shaphan (shaw-fawn'), who was
a scribe for King Josiah. Shaphan is associated with
Hilkiah, a priest, who had found the Book of the Law
(Covenant). Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, the
son of Azaliah, who read it and then brought it to
King Josiah, who then applied the Law (Covenant).

We should not have to go to Google Randy when our readers are able to read

If you clicked the link, and it opened an email response, that means
the newsreader you are using does not know how to handle message ID's.
I tested the links on my system, and they work. I went to Google,
entered them in the bottom of the advanced search page, and they
worked. It's not hard. Just look at the picture, on the link to my
web site, and it will show you how to do it. Tinyurl is nice, but
quite frankly, when you use their links, you're banking on the fact
their system will always be up, and that they will be around several
years into the future. Plus, for example, Andrew Chung had all his
links invalidated, just because someone complained to them about his
use of the links. I want my references to be valid for as long as
there is an Internet, so I'm sticking with message ID's.
I posted my quotes, and made valid link references to them. If Owd or
others don't want to go to the trouble of checking the links, then
they can't complain that I am misquoting them, and I am not.
