Who is of Importance? |
Who is of Importance?
First person of importance for a Christian is God:
And God spake all these words, saying, I am the LORD thy God, which have
brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou
shalt have no other gods before me. (Exodus 20:1-3 KJV)
Second person of importance for a Christian is the neighbor:
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
(John 15:12KJV)
Third person of importance is the enemy:
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do
good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use
you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which
is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good,
and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. (Matthew 5:44-45 KJV)
That is how Christians should regard others. Hold others higher than
YOURSELF! Regard them as of a very HIGH IMPORTANCE. But there is another
aspect of who is important, namely when I ask the question who is of
importantance to God...
We humans are of such importance for God that he gave the life of His
Son away for us.
Humble is what we Christians should be like - but we should ALWAYS see
the importance for God in us and in others:
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of
mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on
his own things, but every man also on the things of others. (Philippians
2:3-4 KJV)
Shalom,

First person of importance for a Christian is God:
And yet, while you claim that Christ is God
and make a separate claim that God rules all,
you also in another claim, claim that Christ is
not yet ruling and yet call Him Lord.
That dear, IS HYPOCRISY!!!
And God spake all these words, saying, I am
the LORD thy God
Which you do not believe!
which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt
Which means that God ruled the Earth,
or He couldn't have done that, even though
the world is full of sinful people! Ruling
does not mean that everyone obeys!
Even on Earth, we see that and that is why
there are prisons, hello?!?
And Christ took His throne when He ascended
and yet, you claim that He does not rule the Earth!
So if that is true, then you deny that God has always
ruled the Earth and yet you claim He has, even though
sin is still here! So that means that according TO YOU,
Christ cannot be God and cannot be Lord and did not
save us!

The church does not determine what Scripture teaches;
Scripture determines what the church teaches.
If a tradition or experience is contrary to the
teachings of Scripture, it is not of the Lord.
Reason is a significant authority. But it too,
must be placed under the dominion of Scripture.
In other words, we cannot seek Biblical truths,
while questioning the authority of the Bible.
