Object: Who is this poster John W?
This does not sound like Weatherly. So is this an entirely new poster
or yet another impersonater of myself or Weatherly?
<Hi, Christian!
I don't think that Hank believes that Steve is a Christian. I think
that Hank is merely in the dark about possession.
Having been in contact with some half-a-dozen demoniacs in my time,
having had SEVERAL SHRIEK their presence in my company (sensing the
Holy Spirit within me), I think I can sense the presence of demons
when they are near.
While it is admittedly not possible to KNOW for certain that one is
possessed (they don't advertise or admit it) over the web, I believe
the SYMPTOMS can be detected.
And I put "Bible Bob" in the same category, as he VEHEMENTLY rejects
the TriUnity, and the Deity of our Lord Jesus.
Only a demon does those things.

spirit is the spirit of antiChrist."

I don't know why I don't sound like me. I'm having computer problems
yet again. I've lost 4 hard drives in a week. That's what comes from
having to buy el-cheapo hard drives.
So I don't always remember EXACTLY how I've been signing, and I have
decided to not worry about it. My friends know who I am by what I
write.
I also get tired of signing the exact same way month after month after
month after year. AGAIN, those who have BOTHERED to tune into me know
who I am by my writing.
Obviously John Wolf hasn't bothered to get to know me beyond a VERY
superficial level, and now that he has OPENLY betrayed my confidence
with NO apologies, over a PETTY disagreement, he won't get to know me.
And once I get my computer stabilized with some new parts that are on
order and trickling in (new cpu, new mobo, new hard drives, new flash
drive, etc), I will begin my campaign of contacing John MacArthur and
Joel Osteen and letting them know of John Wolf's true wolf-in-sheep's
clothing character.

The Know It All has struck yet again.
If you go to www.pricewatch.com
and look up hard drives, you will find a "MDT" 80 gb hdd for under
$100. I just looked and the 80 gb is now under $50.
I believe I got it for like $65. It has a 1 year warranty. And that's
about how long it lasted.
I just called the same company for another, smaller hdd, and the
salesman said-- again-- it comes with a 1 year warranty.
And VO bites the dust, yet again.
And as far as you "not knowing", vo, I have figured out in my 5 years
in here that there are a LOT of things you don't know.
Like PL, like crawls, you just don't admit that you don't know
everything, but the rest of us are VERY aware of it.

DUUUHHH
They don't give a one year warrantee unless they expect an average of
three year life.
They don't expect returns in greater than the 0.5% and stay in business.
DUUHHHH
Three year warranties have a life expectancy of five to six years.
Next time just go to Circuit City. They will stop carrying any
"problem" products and have a price guarantee.
You can get a name brand (western Digital) 80G for $50.00 or A Seagate
120G for $50.00.

One is bad news. It happens.
You seem to have lots of HD problems (at least you say so and I am
taking you at your word) along with a random generator stack pointer.
For a three year design
Failures occur, 90% within 30 days, 9% in the next 60 days, the
remaining 99.5% of the drives will get three to five years.

They don't expect returns in greater than the 0.5% and stay in business.

AGAIN, there's just no arguing with YOU, since you can never be wrong.

Yes, they do not expect a return within the one year warrant period of
greater than 0.5%. To do that they need an approximate 3 year life
expectancy. They also expect to see 90% of those returns within the
first 30 days expect an extremely rare return after 90 days.
It's called infant mortality. In about six months or a year you can use
that term and try to convince everyone that you have experience in P.C.
development.

This one BARELY did.

temporary backup. It's a standard brand. How old is it? Don't know,
but over a decade I'm sure. Its intertaining to hear the old thing
wind up to speed every time the system brings it online.

Is it a SCSII?
They really whined.

I have one that is around eight years old. It's huge, 250mb.

Curious to see how much dust had clogged my Pentium's fins (and there
was too much) I went & checked. It's a Maxtor 7540RU, manufactured on
5-3-95. It whines some, enough to be interesting though not
irritating.

I don't know why I don't sound like me. I'm having computer problems
yet again. I've lost 4 hard drives in a week. That's what comes from
having to buy el-cheapo hard drives.

El-Cheapo hard drives?
There are new and there are used. I know of no new drive that will not
last at least three years and often five, no matter the price.

Unless you mean by "lost" that you misplaced them.

In those five years you still haven't figured out that you don't have a
clue about computers or computer components.

And you are so full of stinky brown stuff that your eyes are a funny
fudge brown.

It was just a few weeks

ago that you were yakking about re-formatting many many times

Was there a point there, somewhere?

Last week, I formatted one hard drive something like 3 times before I
gave up.

It is far from unusual for an OS-- during an install-- to crash. When
it does, the SMART thing to do is to reformat and start again.

That's the SMART thing.

Doesn't mean YOU do it that way, but AGAIN, you have proevd over and
over that you ain't so smart.

I have called my engineer buddy, Bruce, on this exact problem. He told
me he has done installs that took 5 or 6 formats over almost as many
days before he got a stable install.

And don't tell me Bruce doesn't know what he is doing. He's a computer
engineer, and I bet he'd make you look damn silly if you argued with
him.

I REPEAT, in the 5 years I've known you, I've YET to be aware of you
admitting to being wrong about ANYTHING.

I also note that you SIDESTEPPED COMPLETELY any discussion of the
1-year warranty on the hard drive.

I caught you with your panties around your ankles again, and you don't
have the CLASS to admit it.

Like PL, like crawls, you just don't admit that you don't know
everything, but the rest of us are VERY aware of it.

DUUUHHH
They don't give a one year warrantee unless they expect an average of
three year life.

DUH!

That's an "average" genius.

So my hdd lasted 14 months. That's ROUGHLY a year.

One is bad news. It happens.

Of COURSE, it happens! So why be as big a JERK as Elaine, and make a
federal case of it!
I didn't mention (was nobody's business, until you MADE IT YOURS) that
the other 3 hard drives that crashed were old ones, two that I was
recycling from old computers that had been given to me.
As I BEGAN saying, I'm presently running a 2 Gb HDD that doesn't even
hold the whole OS, much less any data.
I'm AGAIN waiting on a 30 Gb from the SAME co that AGAIN contains a 1
yr warranty.
That's what I can AFFORD.

You seem to have lots of HD problems (at least you say so and I am
taking you at your word) along with a random generator stack pointer.

I have HDD problems, you have personality issues; being a know-it-all
jerk.

For a three year design
Failures occur, 90% within 30 days, 9% in the next 60 days, the
remaining 99.5% of the drives will get three to five years.
