Object: YHWH is the True God [Was: 2 questions]

Eric Brze said on Jan 10, 5:55 pm: I simply reveal
the truth by exposing the Devil. :-)
The evil of Jehovah written in the OT is evident
to all.

YHWH isn't the devil; "YHWH said unto Satan, YHWH
rebuke thee, O Satan; even YHWH that hath chosen
Jerusalem rebuke thee" (Zech. 3:2). Jesus said that
YHWH is the true God; "And Jesus answered him, The
first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel;
The Lord our God is one Lord" (Mk. 12:29); "Hear, O
Israel: The LORD (YHWH) our God is one LORD (YHWH)"
(Deut. 6:4). YHWH isn't evil; "YHWH is good; blessed
is the man that trusteth in him" (Ps. 34:8).

Eric said: All it takes for one to stand up
against such evil is to find the Rock.

"Who is God, save YHWH? And who is a rock, save our
God?" (2 Sam. 22:32); "Thou hast forgotten the God
of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the
rock" (Is. 17:10); "YHWH liveth, and blessed be my
rock, and exalted be the God of the rock of my
salvation" (2 Sam. 22:47); "Of the Rock that begat
thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that
formed thee" (Deut. 32:18); "I will publish the name
of YHWH; ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is
the Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are
judgment; a God of truth and without iniquity, just
and right is he" (Deut. 32:3-4).
"The Spirit of the Lord GOD (YHWH) is upon me;
because the LORD (YHWH) hath anointed me to preach
good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind
up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the
captives, and the opening of the prison to them that
are bound" (Is. 61:1); "And there was delivered unto
him [Jesus] the book of the prophet Esaias. And when
he had opened the book, he found the place where it
was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to
the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted,
to preach deliverance to the captives, and
recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty
them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year
of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it
again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of
all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on
him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this
scripture fulfilled in your ears" (Lk. 4:17-21).

to kill the soul, but rather fear him which is able
to destroy both soul and body in hell" (Mt. 10:28).

Not necessarily; "For Satan himself is transformed
into an angel of light" (2 Cor. 11:14); "The Spirit

shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing
spirits, and doctrines of devils" (1 Tim. 4:1);
"I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled
Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be
corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom
we have not preached, or if ye receive another
spirit, which ye have not received, or another
gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well
bear with him" (2 Cor. 11:3-4); "And they worshipped
the dragon" (Rev. 13:4); "The great dragon was cast
out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan,
which deceiveth the whole world; he was cast out
into the earth, and his angels were cast out with
him" (Rev. 12:9).

Eric Brze said on Jan 10, 9:23 pm: The river of
blood in the Old Testament

Do you mean God's righteous judgment against
unrepentant sinners? Just as in the New Testament?
"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse;
and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and
True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make
war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his
head were many crowns, and he had a name written,
that no man knew, but he himself. And he was
clothed with a vesture dipped in blood, and his
name is called The Word of God. And the armies which
were in heaven followed him upon white horses,
clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of
his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he
should smite the nations. And he shall rule them
with a rod of iron. And he treadeth the winepress of
the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he
hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written,
KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
|
And I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried
with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly
in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves
together unto the supper of the great God, that ye
may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of
captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the
flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and
the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small
and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the
earth, and their armies, gathered together to make
war against him that sat on the horse, and against
his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the
false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with
which he deceived them that had received the mark of
the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These
both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning
with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the
sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword
proceeded out of his mouth, and all the fowls were
filled with their flesh" (Rev. 19:11-21).
"So shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For
wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be
gathered together" (Mt. 24:27b-28).

Eric said: Abraham is not my father.

"Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him
for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which
are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify
the heathen through faith, preached before the
gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all
nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith
are blessed with faithful Abraham" (Gal. 3:6-9); "If
ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and
heirs according to the promise" (Gal. 3:29).
"Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to
this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of
Abraham" (Lk. 19:9); "Have ye not read that which
was spoken unto you by God, saying, I am the God of
Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of
Jacob?" (Mt. 22:31-32); "There shall be weeping and
gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and
Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the
kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out"
(Lk. 13:28).

colp said on Jan 11, 1:04 am: Where did the need
for sacrifice come from? Genesis 15:9-10

Sin. The 1st animals must have been sacrificed when
God gave skins to help cover the shame Adam & Eve
felt because of their sin; "YHWH God make coats of
skins, and clothed them" (Gen. 3:21).
Noah sacrificed animals in thanksgiving to God for
covering him through the flood which came because of
sin; "Noah builded an altar unto YHWH, and took of
every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and
offered burnt offerings on the altar" (Gen. 8:20).
God had Abraham sacrifice animals in making a
covenant with him (Gen. 15:9-18). The sin of
breaking agreements must have been rampant at one
point in ancient times, for people began to "cut"
covenants with each other by cutting animals in
half and walking between the halves, to represent
what they agreed should happen to them if they broke
the covenant.
Under the Mosaic Covenant, God provided animal
sacrifices for sin; "For the life of the flesh is in
the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar
to make an atonement for your souls, for it is the
blood that maketh an atonement for the soul"
(Lev. 17:11).
It was by this same principle, under the New
Covenant, that "the blood of Jesus Christ his Son
cleanseth us from all sin" (1 Jn. 1:7b); "For this
is my blood of the new testament (new covenant),
which is shed for many for the remission of sins"
(Mt. 26:28).

Bill M said on Jan 15, 11:38 am: Just more
Biblical nonsense!

None of the Bible is nonsense; it only seems like
nonsense to those who are unsaved; "The natural man
receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God, for
they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know
them, because they are spiritually discerned"
(1 Cor. 2:14).
"We speak, not in the words which man's wisdom
teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth,
comparing spiritual things with spiritual"
(1 Cor. 2:13).
"Preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest
the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
-For the preaching of the cross is to them that
perish foolishness, but unto us which are saved it
is the power of God. For it is written, I will
destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to
nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is
the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer
of this world? Hath not God made foolish the wisdom
of this world?" (1 Cor. 1:17-20).
"Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you
seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a
fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this
world is foolishness with God. For it is written,
He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. And
again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise,
that they are vain" (1 Cor. 3:18-20).
*******
When an unbeliever doesn't understand the Bible,
Lucifer comes and removes it from his heart; "When
any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and
understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one,
and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart"
(Mt. 13:19).
This is because Lucifer wants to make sure that the
Word doesn't have time to settle deep within the
unbeliever's heart and instill faith in him; "Faith
cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"
(Rom. 10:17); "Those by the way side are they that
hear, then cometh the devil, and taketh away the
word out of their hearts, lest they should believe
and be saved" (Lk. 8:12).
So don't let Lucifer rob you of the Bible, blinding
you to its wonderful truth; "The god of this world
hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who
is the image of God, should shine unto them"
(2 Cor. 4:4).
You can escape the power of Lucifer; "They may
recover themselves out of the snare of the devil,
who are taken captive by him at his will"
(2 Tim. 2:26); by giving heed to God's Word, which
Jesus has sent forth to unbelievers; "To open their
eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and
from the power of Satan unto God, that they may
receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among
them which are sanctified by faith that is in me"
(Acts 26:18).
*******
The days are coming when the Bible will be outlawed
as hate speech and evil falsehood. You won't be able
to find a Bible even if you wanted to; "Behold, the
days come, saith the Lord YHWH, that I will send a
famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a
thirst for water, but of hearing the words of YHWH.
And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the
north even to the east, they shall run to and fro
to seek the word of YHWH, and shall not find it"
(Amos 8:11-12).
"Seek ye YHWH while he may be found, call ye upon
him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his
way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let
him return unto YHWH, and he will have mercy upon
him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
-For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are
your ways my ways, saith YHWH. For as the heavens
are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher
than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
|
-For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from
heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the
earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it
may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater,
so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my
mouth; it shall not return unto me void, but it
shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall
prosper in the thing whereto I sent it"
(Is. 55:6-11).
"Man doth not live by bread only, but by every word
that proceedeth out of the mouth of YHWH doth man
live" (Deut. 8:3b).
*******
The days are coming when even YHWH Himself will be
reviled and cursed worldwide as evil and hateful,
while the dragon Lucifer and the man called the
Antichrist or "the beast" will be extolled and
worshipped worldwide as the true Christ and the good
and loving and most powerful God; "And they
worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the
beast, and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who
is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with
him?
|
And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great
things and blasphemies, and power was given unto
him to continue forty and two months. And he opened
his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his
name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in
heaven.
|
And it was given unto him to make war with the
saints, and to overcome them; and power was given
him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship
him, whose names are not written in the book of
life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the
world. If any man have an ear, let him hear"
(Rev. 13:4-9).
"For there shall arise false Christs, and false
prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders;
insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall
deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you
before" (Mt. 24:24).
*******
With the Bible no longer there to counteract all the
false teachings of Lucifer, the Antichrist "beast",
and the False Prophet, the world will go ga-ga at
their miraculous powers, and believe anything they
say, even to the point of gladly receiving the mark
of the beast and worshipping his image.
"And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire
come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of
men, and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by
the means of those miracles which he had power to do
in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell
on the earth, that they should make an image to the
beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did
live. And he had power to give life unto the image
of the beast, that the image of the beast should
both speak, and cause that as many as would not
worship the image of the beast should be killed.
|
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and
poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their
right hand, or in their foreheads; and that no man
might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or
the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding
count the number of the beast, for it is the number
of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore
and six" (Rev. 13:13-18).
"Even him, whose coming is after the working of
Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders"
(2 Thes. 2:9).
*******
This is why we should never be swayed away from what
the Bible itself says, even if someone who
contradicts it can perform the most amazing
miracles. The Bible itself, not any signs or
wonders, must always be the sole touchstone against
which all doctrine must be tested; "If they speak
not according to this word, it is because there is
no light in them" (Is. 8:20).
"The Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter
times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed
to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils"
(1 Tim. 4:1); "Preach the word; be instant in
season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with
all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will
come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but
after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves
teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn
away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned
unto fables" (2 Tim. 4:2-4).

Do you think this is nonsense? If so, why?

Mark said: May I have your house and car and may

I don't own any house, or car, or prized possession.
Do you ever ask people for such stuff out of
covetousness? If so; "Take heed, and beware of
covetousness, for a man's life consisteth not in
the abundance of the things which he possesseth"
(Lk. 12:15); "Having food and raiment let us be
therewith content. But they that will be rich fall
into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish
and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction
and perdition. For the love of money is the root of
all evil, which while some coveted after, they have
erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through
with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee
these things, and follow after righteousness,
godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight
the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life"
(1 Tim. 6:8-12).
Just as none of this is nonsense, so no other parts
of the Bible are nonsense.

cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast
out with him" (Rev. 12:9). "I beheld Satan as
lightning fall from heaven" (Lk. 10:18); "How art
thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the
morning" (Is. 14:12).
"And these are they by the way side, where the word
is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh
immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown
in their hearts" (Mk 4:15); "Those by the way side
are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and
taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they
should believe and be saved" (Lk. 8:12); "Then
cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which
was sown in his heart. This is he which received
seed by the way side" (Mt. 13:19).

not proper names. Satan means adversary and devil
means slanderer.

Descriptive nouns can also be proper names; e.g.
"Abbot"; "Sargent"; "Carpenter".

Taken together, these verses show that in His anger
YHWH moved David by allowing Satan to provoke David.
These verses in no way mean that YHWH is Satan;
"YHWH said unto Satan, YHWH rebuke thee, O Satan;
even YHWH that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee"
(Zech. 3:2).

YHWH isn't the devil; "YHWH said unto Satan, YHWH
rebuke thee, O Satan; even YHWH that hath chosen
Jerusalem rebuke thee" (Zech. 3:2).

Satan isn't necessarily the devil. Satan and devil are descriptive
nouns, not proper names. Satan means adversary and devil means slanderer.
And again the anger of YHWH was kindled against Israel, and he moved
David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah.
2 Samuel 24:1
And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.
1 Chronicles 21:1
