some financial difficulties right now.

I would like to stand up and acknowledge with heartfelt thanks, those who
came forth to help out in an exercise of community that was unique, a

wonder

to behold, and was used by God in a powerful way to bless the recipients

of

such an outreach of love.

I would thank all who participated through their prayers for Doc and his
family -- for we all know that nothing is accomplished without prayer.

That

was probably the most important part of the equation.

Let it be known that the regulars of ACC raise up over $119 and paid off

in

it's entirely one of their utility bills and gave them some pocket-money

for

emergencies. As a direct result of hearing about our actions to assist

him,

a local came forth with another $92 to totally eradicate one of their

other

bills. And this outflow of love may not yet be over!

My deepest personal and heart-felt thanks to those of you who participated
in this rather unusual venture. God has indeed blessed and multiplied the
actions of those who cheerfully stood up to help when they saw a need.
I would call the first exercise of the ACC "Hope Fund" a very great

success.

I also wonder if it might be a unique occurance in the history of

Christian

Usenet as well? I know that many of us anguish over the appearance that
these groups seem only good for fighting and contending -- but this week

ACC

has proven that to be a mistaken assumption!
It is good for other things -- for demonstrating love and building hope

and

showing that faith is not just something that we dress up in on Sundays,

or

wear on our sleeves or pay service to with our lips.

May the many blessings of God abound to all -- and especially to those who
came together to make this wonderful exercise possible.
I now understand the blessings Paul talked about when he boasted in the

Lord

about the faithfulness of the churches he had been used to plant for

God's

greater glory.

May the eyes of the LORD and His Divine protection be upon ACC and all of
those who work to make it a holy and pleasing thing in His sight.
Lord, light the fire again and show us that our faith is not something we
fight and argue with, but something we live and demonstrate so that You
might be magnified and lifted up.

As far as I know at no time was ever any money solicited for this either on
our group, Acc, or by email, the gifts of love were given because of the
pressing needs of one of our regular posters who had suffered an heart
attack. Griz, took the gift to our brother in Christ himself. I don't know
how anyone could see this as anything but an act of love.

As part of our guideline we are not to crosspost to other news groups unless
lead by the Lord to do so but I wanted everyone to know that good things are
happening here at Alternative Christnet Christianlife.

My favorite song, no doubt. It sounds something like a scene in a movie, I
was handcuffed and put in the back of a sheriff car and did not know where

was going till we pulled up in front of the hospital and I saw the sign. I
though I was being arrested for some trump up charge but then my worst

came true, a psychiatric hospital. I had been awake for over a week

of fear. God had started talking to me in that still small voice and it
shock me up pretty good but then the devil chimed in and that was it for

I couldn't go to sleep. Seven days later, wham, I was in the hospital. I

misdiagnosed as a mantic depressant and given anti psychotic drugs which
caused depression after the fear finally wore off. I was clinically

for five months till I stopped taking the meds.

prayed for a woman and she regain the ability to both speak and walk.

prayer took place in front of both doctors and nurse and many patients
