the hecklers will heckle and the scoffers will scoff but the Word of
God remains forever... the God haters spew out exactly what's in their
hearts ( Lk. 6:45 ) and its all because they are not His sheep.
not being His sheep was never their choice as the God haters would
like to think... that would make their reprobate hearts happy to think
they put one over on God Almighty.
oh no, it's the other way around. God simply passed them over for
salvation and that's why they dont believe.
" salvation is of the Lord " ( Ps. 3:8 ) not man ( Joh. 1:13 )
when approached by the gospel of Christ they stumble... they were
appointed to stumble. ( 1 Pet. 2:8 )
they are lower than prostitutes ( Mt. 21:31,32 )
even little children are not said to be passed over as these scoffers
are. ( Lk. 18:16 )
the scoffers have educated themselves to be as distant from the Word
of Life as they can get ( Acts 13:46 )
cursing God is their lot in life. such does not reveal a happy
existence.
