Its raining. I feel very comforted by rain, but today my nerves are raw.
Finished edit on Merchant of Venice article and off it went to publisher today.
No classes today and need to work on dissertation . . . I will do this, I will.
But right now wish I had permanent teaching job and that I was swirling and
giddy from being in the middle of a torrid affair of the heart. I really
cannot continue for an 8th year to be alone -- I can tell I am not going into
middle age gracefully, I wish for, crave, and deeply need, the on the edge
feeling that comes when one is just starting to think that "he" is eating you
up with his eyes, eyes that are a bit intense and hint at a bit of danger.
I am a perpetual 16 year old -- yuck. Going to read Dante now and try to think
of something provocative and insightful to write.

how can you be alone when you live with your Ex
and how can you expect to find someone else ,
personally i don't think i would want to try dating a woman that lives with her Ex

My ex being in my house is a hurdle I suppose. But before I deal with that
hurdle, I have to even meet someone who would look at me in a come hither way
and whom I would feel the same about.
The intensity of my work life and lack of anytime to breath and go out for a
lark is far more of a problem than ex.
Hope you and yours are having a good day.

Thanks Jake . . .just one of those blah days. My friend used to say, "never
straight, but always forward." I like that phrase :)
