I am doing what I can to try to turn this job search around -- contacting old
professors, getting them to make phone calls, etc. But I am afraid. What if
nothing works out? I have to walk that thin line between not letting fear
paralyze you so you can't keep doing, and working, and going and yet remain
conscious of potential pits coming in my path so I work now to avoid them.
John is starting to drift further and further away from my mind's eye. I go to
conference next week that he agreed not to go to and will see many people I
know who happen to adore -- yes, adore -- him. I hope very much I do not get
triggered, though Maria will be with me and that helps to keep me grounded. I
am anxious about giving paper, but excited too.
I am going to try to work a bit here and then have a fire with Maria and watch
Gilmore Girls which we identitfy with :) We have a pumkin head that glows
(fiber optics) it is so cool!

i tease because you repeat , and i seldom know anything about you ,
i can never make heads or tails , you live with your ex who you don't like ,
but you'll miss him if he isn't there and then there's some other guy that
