There is a book I really need -- Corpus Christi: the Euchrist in the
late middle Ages (1150-1650). Problem is, there is always a book I
need and can't afford them and have no space. New this darn thing is
$80 though I found used copy for half that, but still too high. Lonley
to talk to someone about this stuff. Sacramental vision is so
beautiful and awe-inspiring.
Bad night, Maria and I tried to go on errands and then to dinner and I
was going to try to buck up with that and then go to work. Damn car
battery died (left lights on) and it is dead winter freezing here, took
four hours, a jump from a stranger and then a tow truck for $ 80 to get
going and give up and go home.
Oh well, small stuff eh compared to if I said -- God forbid -- Maria in
hospital, or someone close just died etc. etc.
I am just all over the map the last few days after coming out of bad
bout with Christmas melancholy. Think give it up here and get to sleep
(Maria watching a movie) and start over tomorrow. Yep.

maybe you can get it on a cassette , cheaper and takes up less space ,
and you can relax while someone on the tape reads it to you

Ohhhh -- I like that idea! Didn't I read in one of your posts that you
had religious aspirations as a calling at one time? I thought I did.
What would be neat, if the woman you live with didn't mind, is to sit
by your fire and you could read it to me over a nice glass (or two) of
merlot eh?
Rosena in goof sleepy mood.

I dont know, but the book might be on google, because they aparently
entered into an agreement with a lot of libraries to scan old books to the
net. see soc.libraries.talk

If you check that group, there are other places as well. Google will just
probably be the biggest.
Great for scholers, yes, but nobody wrote about windows-server-2003 in the
1100s, so not for me LOL
