What you did was really cool. Responsible. Props for that. But Luna is
right. Time to take better care of you. This place would be lost without
you. Besides, I'm still waiting for another fishing story. :)

You were sorely missed and there is much rejoicing in the land upon your
return.
I know you're a very smart man and you know lots of ways to take care of
yourself, and I kept telling myself that...plus I knew Luna would be keeping
up with things and be on the job, but dang. It's weird when you're gone.
I'm glad you're okay. And what Whiskers said, exactly - respect.

Yeah, I bet -- home where the mattress is! And the water! My bones creaked
in sympathy when I read you'd slept on a cement floor. We're too old to be
doing that stuff. Okay, well, I am anyway. Thank god for Aleve.

Oh my god, YES. Heating Pad is our Friend! When I had chronic pain, I used
to lay in bed with a heating pad and it was the only thing that got me
through. I'd put on a tight t-shirt and slip the heating pad underneath it
so the shirt would hold the pad in place over the sore place. Sometimes I
used two heating pads. Once I had the pad on too high and burned myself
(not a big deal burn, just a little one), and then I found that using one of
those big body pillows to prop myself against kept me from turning onto the
heating pad and burning myself if I fell asleep when the pad was on a higher
heat.
It's good to know the heating pad can work so well when we need it. It
makes pain less scary.

Hey...that's a good idea. I feel kind of stupid for not having thought of
it before. Did you ever see that movie years ago, My Dinner With Andre? It
has a famous scene where Andre and Wally Shawn discuss the philosophy of
using/not using them, kind of like The Tao of Electric Blankets.
Can you imagine how awful this must sound to Luna in the heat she's in? I'm

You were sorely missed and there is much rejoicing in the land upon your
return.
I know you're a very smart man and you know lots of ways to take care of
yourself, and I kept telling myself that...plus I knew Luna would be
keeping
up with things and be on the job, but dang. It's weird when you're
gone. I'm
glad you're okay. And what Whiskers said, exactly - respect.
Exactly. He did the right thing.
Now, if I could control Dave (bwahahaha!) I'd be getting him to take care
of his
health a little better. I worry but it's selfish, I want him around as
long as
possible.
Jean
Maybe he'll listen to you if you send him a photo of your hooters. :) Sorry
Jean. Couldn't resist. <g>
