Thank you everyone - my inadequacies are starting to suffocate me. I
know I place the bar high, but still . . . if my damn legs worked I'd
go out and have indiscriminate sex with the Yankees and swish around
basking in superficial attention. But the truth is I am more like the
sister in the Tennesse Williams play and that is gentlemen and ladies -
pathetic.
I am grading and at least that is getting accomplished. I am going to
swim next week. Water is good for the soul (and maybe I can get Maria
to play).
Like Scarlett I will soon say 'fiddle le dee" and think of a new course
of action tomorrow. But right now I feel like Blanche and want to be
Stella. Very weird. My mind is in dramas and plays.
