Not made for this world in a deep and profound way. I want to collect
bookstamps for I love the old ones with black and white etching of
mysterious medieval philosophers bent in back focused on a manuscript
surrounded by maps books and candles. I have a flying red elephant in
my study. A tall gold-leaf statute of Mother Mary and Child quite
ornate carved of wood. I also have a large oak leaf that was dipped in
liquid gold and eacg delicate vein perserved that serves for a votive
candle . . .two black imposing medieval torches with dark candles.
Seven photos of my daughter baby until now. . . I want to see a fairy.
Lots of plants, big, sweeping leaves.

because I didn't get it and then dwelled and dwelled on it - and bang!
I got it! But the party was over two hours ago and no one left to
laugh with.

Too late? There's nothing wrong with experience of life - you just have
to learn which bits not to repeat, which bits are the demons, and which
the angels. If you want the angels, but choose the demons, that's
foolish, and you certainly know better. Applying it to life is the
difficult part; you don't have to be foolish to get it wrong sometimes.
