How does the saying go? "That which you are looking for is causing you
to look." I think that's it.

The only thing I found is myself, and I've done plenty of looking.

If you have a satnav that doesn't know about the unnamed
dirt road you are driving on, just drive though the barb wire fence
at the end of the road as instructed. You may need to pay for
fence/vehicle repairs as required. However you don't do that
so turn the satnav off and rethink things. Talking to someone
walking along side the road for a few seconds may or may not
be useful.
My theory is that people are themselves, so you are looking for
something that does not exist. You are you, no one else is you.
The rest of the world does not define you, you define you. You are
under no pressure to conform to anything society says you should
be. In cases you need to - put on an act that conforms to that of
those around you.
That is the best I can come up with.
