I am sort of shakey - just wondering who is around if anyone? Going to
take zyprexa early. try to write and research. Feel like I am
gripping to stay attacked to "the reality" of what "is" right now.
Tremors.
BTW if you trembled when you went to the scaffold in early modern
England it was assumed you were indeed guilty and thus afraid for if
you were innocent then God would by special grace empower you to remain
unaffected by your own death.
Oh well . . . doesn't get anyone going does it? Well no, Tara likes
this stuff! So not alone in world with it.

Hi Lisa,
I see pdoc in two weeks. I am not sure what he will try. I may just
need something for anxiety at this point but I have heard all of that
stuff is real addictive. Something called klonpin?? That might be
something to try.
They have tried all other cognates of zyprexa and nothing helped. But
often I think I only take zyprexa now for the anxiety and anxiousness
How are you feeling? I couldn't believe when I read you have 5 cats??
You have a houseful eh?
What are you up to today?

not 5 cats, 8 maine coons and a shorthaired ex-barn cat. 9
cats. about 5 too many, though i couldn't pick one to get rid
of.
i saw my therp for 1.5 hrs today, then spent an hour with joe.
today's michael's 13th b'day. he's at a track meet right now.
i think we'll do take-out chinese from a good restaurant
tonight. he's getting his own room for his main gift. he also
said he wanted a flying pig, and i found a flying pig mobile
with flapping wings. he'll love it.
talked to my pdoc, and am starting my parnate taper tomorrow,
since i took both doses today.
are you keeping busy?

it's the only thing that really worked. except when i needed

Oh that sounds neat for your 13 year old! His own room is a big deal
huh? Maria would love a flying pig. She has a small flying frog she
has had since she was 4 and she still has it up. Hanging things make a
room cozy somehow. I have a flying elephant in my study.
I want Chinese! Will the taper be hard?
I am working on my papers due for finals. Behind on every single one
but plan this weekend to work hard and stay focused. Next week Maria
and I are suppose to go to big Medieval Conference 3000 people in
Kalamazoo. If I don't feel better we can't but she is really looking
forward to "road trip" so we will try.

the taper might be tough, i don't know. i feel awful if i'm
late taking a dose, but don't know what will happen if i take
a partial dose. i wish cindy was around, since she's gone off
parnate.
good luck on your papers, and feeling well enough for your
trip. it sounds like lots of fun!

My doc gave me Seroquel samples, and they worked great against anxiety.
He was going to give me a prescription for Klonopin, but didnt want me
to get "hooked". I guess what works best depends some on the focus of
the anxiety too. Mine was groundless, and so the Seroquel
Anti-Psychotic works like a charm. I take 20 mg Zyprexa too, but it
couldnt do much.

i read that it took mary stuart, queen of scots, two hits with the axe to
get her head completely off. after the first, which landed in the back of
her skull, ringside spectators clearly heard her say, "sweet jesus."
those royals, eh? never a dull moment.
do you ever wonder if consciousness continues for a while after one's head
is cut off? polanski's macbeth for example. how plausible is that?

How utterly horrible. I will never understand humans and the things they
do. The things they are capable of. History isn't as enlightening as it is
confusing. It just leads to more questions that no one can answer. It
tells us what but never why. Or gives us answers that don't matter much in
the face of such violence.

Absolutely not. Scientifically impossible. It does, however, give me an
idea for a story that could be interesting.

Hi Cal,

I have heard tales of heads speaking right after decapitation, but only

i suspected as much. yak. that really creeps me out. to be only a head, and
to know it, for however short a time.

How are you - are classes over? Next wednesday for us.

i'm glad to hear you sounding strong after the sorrow of the past days.
classes ended last friday. i spent the first part of the week running
errands that have piled up because of too much work, and i've spent
yesterday and today goofing off. here's what i else i wrote about that
elsewhere today:
this week i have to finish my marking, file my income tax return, file my
aged mother's income tax return, do my laundry, and clean my apartment. i've
made no plans for the weekend. i vant to bee alon.
i'm not exactly sick and not exactly well. i'm disaffected, out of sorts,
cranky. at times like this i'm somewhat reminded that men who live alone
have a lower life expectancy than men who live with partners. that's too bad
i guess, but after the fiascos of the past five years, partnering is so far
down on the cal to-do list, i'll be giving the dust bunnies pedicures before
i get around to it again.
i seem to be getting good at propagating jade plants. anyone want a jade
plant? maybe i'll get a cat. a jaded cat and a jaded dog to match jaded moi
and the jade plants, and we'll all live together in a jaded little house.
we'll take turns biting the mailman.
