Yeah well, I think he's wrong. I've certainly seen this happen here
before and it's not just Alan, either. When you talk about "onus", I
think it's unfair to expect people to tip toe around another's overly
developed sensitivities to personal slights if it's clearly not
intended to slam anyone. I think the most obvious offenders, like the
infamous "crush threads" have been eradicated because being excluded
was just as hurtful as being included was delightful. I can see that
but this whole thing feels like an entirely different animal to me.

Fair enough. You already know I missed you like crazy, but then I just

Hello Contrarian!
I like it when threads drift into bad neighbourhoods - unless I'm not
reading them carefully and then I get totally lost. Political threads
are impossible for me to follow.

He he - hey Jean. sooooooo glad to hear you. Gawd this place is
wanting without your wit.

You really do know how to put your foot in your mouth, don't you? I've
lost track of the number of times you've done this sort of thing.

Yours, not witty along with everyone else but luna.

God you're a petulant little lemon sometimes.

I remember you posting right before your indignant last flounce about
how asd is full of too many idiots after which you promptly
left...while people continued to post shout outs to you and chose to
overlook your insulting temper tantrum because - DUH - at the time you
were going through some obvious distress. (and you INTENDED to be an
insulting condescending ***** - Rosena certainly didn't - what she is
saying is that she missed me, my absence was felt, sorry - well, not
really - if that offends you).

So Rosena tries to say something nice to me to welcome me back and your
widdle self esteem perceives an insult because you are ALWAYS looking
for one. Get over it, it had NOTHING to do with you. If you are not
intentionally misinterpreting this because of some weird grudge you
have with her then just killfile her and spare all of us your weird
Rosena hostility.

Alan,
This is uncalled for. People know what I mean. Jean contributes
something real special to ASD. And many many other people do too. Some
don't. And I am not going to get on PC bandwagon that says "everyone is
witty" therefore "no one is witty" i.e. exceptional, excellent etc. I
despise levelling and won't do it.
You are indeed witty. Others are kind. Others are silly. Others are
bright. Others are stupid. others are a mystery. Some are jerks.
There is such a thing as "wit" diversity.
