Object: @ Hey @
Really tierd. Been up to 4:00 a.m. on article three nights running.
I have read so many flayings, hangings, beheadings, disbowelling and so
forth my mind is starting to turn to mush.
Still coming across miracles though, and subsequent pardons. Neat.

I believe you are misreading her post. She is reading records of
punishments and associated "divine interventions" from the middle
ages. This has nothing to do with what she does or doesn't believe,
nor is she claiming that anyone is (and neither is she herself)
stupid.

Temprament and the family unit.

?? This looks like a non sequitur.

Rosena

Pardon my blushing, but thank you kindly, and I'm fine, thanks. I hope
you know that you are one of my favorite people here as well? It would
be fun to meet you some day, but I doubt that geography will
cooperate.
Did you find that book on engligtenment vs mental illness I mentioned?
More recently, I've been reading about dissociative disorders.
Fascinating subject, and an interesting change of pace from
neurotransmitter chemistry. The notion of cooperative versus
dissociated ego states is an interesting one. So is the concept of an
"ego state" at all, for that matter. While I'm not ready to consider
psychology a science, I'd have to say this is one of the better models
for the mind that I've seen.
I've been looking for a metaphor for ego states that resonates better
with my own way of looking at the world. I tend to think of them as
non-orthogonal basis functions for human consciousness. Probably no
one else thinks of them in quite those terms. :)

Hey,
Just wrote last sentence on 91 pages. Has taken a year and a half,
almost two. I have some translation to do in canon law and some places
to fix - a bit of editing (AGAIN), but then it goes in the oven.
Nom was right, I am researching miracles but BTW big believer in them
too.
Yep, still packing but still not sure doing right thing.

91 pages! Wow. That's quite an accomplishment. Do you have an
abstract?
