Object: % my TV is slow
When I turn it on I hear things immediately and can volume up/down/mute.
But I have to wait for the red light to stop blinking and the image to
appear before I can change the channel. The picture is also a bit washed
out too for about a second or so before the image is fully stabilized.
Should I leave it on all the time?

That's a big waste of things running the things you don't turn off.
