It sounds like he's having a break of some kind (CIA?). Hopefully David doesn't
live alone and someone has found him. We may not hear from him for a while.
There is nothing you can do and that is what makes the internet suck sometimes.

Just heard from him by email. I am wondering how old he is, I am
guessing 18 or so. He lives with parents so I hope they are around
though he said he thinks he is safe.
Yes, I HATE internet sometimes. Though I gotta say, ASDers saved my
tuche a couple of times years ago.
