It *always* happens like this. I get down and morose for a few days and feel
failed and then something happens to lift my spirits but simultaneously put
more pressure on. I wrote an article on Merchant of Venice which has been
waiting for publication for a year now. Finally, it is due out next month BUT
I have just got the edit and changes now which they need back immediately . . .
we leave in less than two weeks and house is getting packed so I do this how?!
But I will do it. Glad it is finally coming out. Will help resume when looking
for permanent position in August. I need a cup of strong coffee and to get to
work.

Annoyed because I feel definitely OK, but I did absolutely nothing
yesterday, but nothing except make up lists of books. I wrote
10" on something constructive Wed. I don't remember when I
went to sleep last night but I woke up _early_ (but not feeling
bad) I'm the sort that oversleeping sometimes makes things worse.
Well this is going on too long. Saw a job opening, but I have
about %25 of the qualifications.

you sound good, rosena. you're stronger than you sometimes
think yourself to be. you can do this, and do it well. enjoy
