Dial a Nurse called to tell me whit cell blood count really high but
all tests not in yet so not clear. And I see doctor Monday. Said that
indicates sign of infection. What infection?!!! Cancer? Yeah, I know.
But I HATTEEEE waiting. Oh well.
Okay, back to my imagined twirling and swirling as i memorize passive
and active imperfect and perfect tense in Latin . . . .I wannnnnaaaa be

No fun at-all. OTOH, it sure shows there's Real Reason
for the way you feel.
Hoping it gets sorting out and cured ASAP.

a high whie count usually isn't from cancer unless the white
cells themselves are weird or in a very odd balance with each
other. almost always is a sign of infection. maybe you picked up
a nasty virus. have you had mono before? that would make you
beyond exhausted. with your workload and family stuff, any
infection would make you even more tired than the typical grad
student.
