This little tiff we got going here has pushed me a bit too far toward
implying that your "Used2Be and ASD" post had no genuine concern behind
it. But I do not in fact think that. I question your tactics and I think
they're overdetermined by other factors, but I do believe your
expression of concern was sincere and well-intentioned.
It seemed appropriate to mention that.

I genuinely appreciate you saying this. Cindy seems "okay" and then
here and there a scary post, and then "okay." I am assuming that all
is okay right now, and I thought it was nice you interacted with her on
ASH so she did not swim in that shark pool alone.

Unfortunately, now I've got the damn thing in my subscriptions list and
I've having a hard time taking it off. You know, the lure of wondering

Oh Great Mark! (smile), now you have to be a total gentleman and now I
feel evil for striking back so hard. I hope you will accept my apology
also. It is all cool. I know what you mean. I keep checking over
there to see if more and I hate that place!
I may have over reacted in putting her name in lights - I just get so
scared for people here after we experienced for it real with our lost

I know. I *don't* know if a well-timed fire alarm would have saved any
of their lives, but it might have.
My problem is, I see a dangerous other side to that sort of thing, I see
big fat juicy plums of attention being offered to people in response to
suicidal-sounding posting, and can't help but wonder if it has the
effect of encouraging it, and thereby possibly reinforcing the very
suicidal impulses it's supposed to help with. Plus, I can never forget
the Great Scams that have been perpetrated here using that technique,
knowing how effective it is, but that's a whole other story.

Don't 'spect her to, but it was nice finding out we're both big fans of
Big Bend National Park.
