$28,000 preschool |
Nightline did a special on Manhattan preschools. they are very hard to get
into. most people get rejected or are put on the waiting list. supposedly
you can't buy your way in, but it helps if you are a legacy or sibling.
does a preschooler need a $90,000 education?
one year of tuition and fees at MIT is $33,600.

haha. i remember seeing something somewhere that most public colleges cost
about $20,000 per student. that was back in the 90s. obviously public
schools are cheaper because of state and federal support.
i dunno how much it costs per student in something like the elementary
school system.
my nephews go to a very remote rural elementary but the curriculum is very
good. they demand a lot from the students.
i guess if you are grooming a kid for a military academy or Ivy League, the
$28,000 preschool might make some sense.

Well, it still isnt as good as my job. I am the super duper head
engineer at NASA. All the workers there call me Einstein, due to my
exhalted superior intelligence. I even devised a way to make a space
station by splitting the atoms in a solitary thrown pop can! LOL

You earth-bound braniacs make me laugh. You would never have guessed,
since you are stuck in solely physical thinking, but the only reason you
are alive is because I take nightly out-of-body trips into space and
deflect incoming earth-killer asteroids with my psychic energy.
I get nothing in return either. Not even a simple glimpse at the next
Powerball drawing. Frankly, the only reason I keep at it is for the sake
of the penguins.
