I think Haribo is German (but it owns the PEZ brand which is - or used
to be - Spanish). ChupaChups is Spanish.
If 3 lbs are around 1.5 kg, then they are a LOT more expensive here!
In a newsstand (which also sell sweets over here) you can buy a bag of
gummies for 1 euro, and it usually contains 10 units. In a candy shop,
they cost more.
Bon appetit (and keep the dentist happy ;)

the back says:
Manufactured for
Haribo of America, Inc
Baltimore, MD 21207
Made in Spain by
Haribo Espaņa
These were bought at a large grocery store, each bear weighs 2.2 grams and
come in yellow red, blue, green, and clearish.

Interesting... but I wonder why they sell them so much cheaper in the
States. It's not fair!!! :)

Yep, just like the ones they sell over here. Do you get other "shapes"?
I mean, "sharks", "worms", "bottles", "fried eggs", "strawberries", and
sundry other fruit-alikes, or only bears?
I sometimes get myself a bag of gummies after I finnish at the gym
(which is probably why it's not working anymore). Someone told me
they make the gelatine out of cow bones. Ick. That's something I
would be perfectly happy to not know.

Yea, there are all sorts of sizes and shapes available. But most of those
are sold in bulk.
I actually specifically buy the Haribo brand because I worked with a girl in
school who always had them in her bag and they were good to chew on while
bored.
