Jeez louise, it's just a little frickin grass. You'd think I have 3
wrecks on cinder blocks in front of my house, a fridge on the porch, and
empty beer cans on the lawn. Yes, it's raining, a LOT, that's why the
grass is growing. No, I'm not going to mow it in the rain.

what do you have against people with junks in front of the
house, a fridge on the porch and empty beer cans? only our
'fridge' is a cooler, and i keep getting on joe's case about the
cans.
it's still cool enough here in the woods that the grass isn't
growing yet.
have you thanked the neighbor yet? then you'd find out his
motive, at least.

I suppose I should talk to him. I just hate being pushed like that. My
take is that there is so much freaking rain, who gives a rat's butt
about the grass right now? It started raining hard immediately after he
finished our yard. In fact, I was kind of hoping it would rain sooner,
because I wanted to prove my point - I'm not going to drop everything on
a dime because there is a little bit of sunshine so I can cut the damn
grass. Grrr. I'll get to it eventually, it's not like I never do it.

Is this just some guy being a jerk because he thinks you aren't being

Or could he be doing it as a favor because he knows of your recent

He doesn't know about her, I think he's dropping a big hint. He's picky
about these things. I kinda don't mind, because we've talked alot about
the security situation, and he really helped calm me the night I was
attacked last September. Plus, I know I need to keep up the yard a
little more, it's just a little annoying to be pushed like that.

Know what? I HATE being pushed too. I also know why I hate it. Usually
because it's something I failed to do and I feel guilty for not having done
it. The only one I am really angry with is myself. Unfortunately, on
occasions when someone who is honestly trying to be helpful comes along and
does it for me, my mind twists that to mean he or she is "showing me up" and
there is no room for grateful when you're full of resentful. Could it be
that his actions were well intentioned and your anger is misdirected? I
suspect so. Or I could be completely wrong. You decide.

Yeah, I feel a little guilty and embarrassed. I also resent having to
have to do this, but at the same time, I like neighborhoods where people
do it. I don't want a junky looking neighborhood either, so I know
where he's coming from. I suppose I should talk to him.

That just sounds like a neighbor thing, Thor. When I was stuck in my
mom's house, we had nice neighbors. Whoever had their lawnmower out
on a given day would mow the other's grass, then I would return the
favor a week or so later. Same in winter -- we had a snowblower.
The house where the ex and I used to live shared a lot with another
family. The yard was huge. Ex had a bad back, I was heat-sensitive,
the guy next door had killer allergies and his wife was scared of
lawnmowers. We split the cost for two brothers and a sister to mow
the lawn every two weeks -- helped get their little business started.
Does your neighbor know you have a company and work a lot? I think
he's just trying to help.

I've noticed this before -- you read into things when they're not
there. It's like you're trying to start a fight that doesn't have
anywhere to go in the first place. And when you're not doing that
you're making little jokes all over the place in a million different
threads and making sure you hold the record for most posts. What is
this all about? Are you an insomniac? I'm not trying to psychoanalyze
you, but I'm really just curious. You seem so angry in a very indirect
way much of the time. You remind me of some guys I used to date,
frankly. They were always saying they weren't upset or whatever
(basically uncommunicative) but then they'd pick little fights or make
passive-aggressive comments/actions. It gets tiresome.

i need to see all your questions again because when ,
google users post , people that don't use google to post with ,
can't see any of what was said before , for example ,
you're reply to me in this post looks just like this ,

You are not wearing me -- I'm just curious. So please break this all
down and answer my "accusations" (I prefer "observations"). I am not
envious of your amount of posts, but if it makes you feel popular, have
at it!
-- Terry

so as you can see , not only is it hard to tell who you are talking to ,
but even harder to see what you have said in the previous ,
for example someone might post like this ,
i have a really cute dog , here is his picture ,
and a person using google might reply , yes , he is cute ,
but , most of the people that don't use google will see this
yes , he is cute
and that's all , so we wonder ,
who's cute , who is this person talking to ,
what or who are they talking about

%, below are my original observations which you call accusations. Care
to respond now?

They weren't strays or one nighters. I said boyfriends. From when I
was younger and stupid and would date guys based on looks alone.

You didnt' really "answer" anything, just made smartass remarks so I
didn't respond. And why is it "interesting after all the questions you
supposedly answer that I chose this one to defend"? Why is that
interesting?
