A Matter of Relaxation |
I've been playing around with the super sampler of muscle relaxants
lately. Soma does the best as far as muscle action is concerned, however
it causes me to kind of get a bit high...fun at first but gets old real
quick. Doesn't last that long. The Doc was worried about the abuse
potential, but honestly it's just NOT fun enough to "abuse".
Going to try Skelaxin tonight, I'm looking for something that will give
me more than 3 or so hours of action. And the administration
instructions say to take one every six hours...here's hoping.
Next to try is Baclofen and Flexeril.
I think I've found that my chronic headaches are tied to a
predisposition towards clenching my jaw and just generally being "wound
too tight", this is where it makes sense that the neurologist is calling
it a tension headache. The Ativan helps a fair amount, and with Soma it
can knock that headache out. Tramadol can also do some good stuff, but
you really need to be on the ball and head off the pounding in my melon
quickly.
Hope that made sense...killing time until the Ambien draws the curtains
for the night. Things are already starting to crawl and textures are
getting weird.
-Goodnight you princes/ses of Maine, you Kings/Queens of New England.
