a poll: what shows will you be watching this fall? |
i actually made a notebook of all the shows i plan to watch this season. i
have their days and networks and times listed in order their showing. how
neurotic is that??!!!

My dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's about 5 years ago I guess, but after
all the heart stuff and vein transplants they reversed that diagnosis, so
we're clueless as to what he actually has.

I just saw episode 1 of Eureka on Space. I liked it enough that I'm going to
tune in for episode 2.
If you enjoyed Buffy and Angel (so did I!!!) you might get a kick out of Eureka.

I just saw episode 1 of Eureka on Space. I liked it enough that I'm going
to tune in for episode 2.
Not a bad show, have watched several episodes. Doesn't seem to be on
consistently though.
If you enjoyed Buffy and Angel (so did I!!!) you might get a kick out of
Eureka.
Angel is on for two hours every morning beginning at 6, catch it while
having breakfast and browsing the morning paper.

Not bad, she's very busy with work, but really enjoys the job and the
people. I've been able to explore the backcountry this summer, and we took
up climbing, "it's fun, just different". Mountains out here are amazing!
Whipping my self in shape for this years ski season. We do the backcountry /
nordic thing with the dog, and I have taken up telemark in a big way at one
of the resorts. Something you can do all year here.

quite able to make it (in a ***** valley with hills all
around) pbs used to come in great til the bastards bought a
"better" transmitter this year..........once it was in,
goodbye to that pretty much.......which really really sucks
(wah f'in wah hah)
i can't get fox, either. abc, nbc, cbs, and pbs. sorry you
lost pbs, sometimes that's all that's watchable.
yeah i saw some damn fine stuff on there.........
a Cream concert..........couple really good rock/political documentaries on
the 60s..........

I only got into it the last few eps in reruns this summer.
I also watch House and the Nanny shows. I have to admit I like to watch
them because at least my kid is not as bad as the
little monsters they have on the the shows.

Grey's Anatomy is a blatant rip-off of Scrubs with a female lead and a
slightly more dramatic and much less funny story line. They've even made
references to Grey's Anatomy on Scrubs... "I love that show, it's so
realistic. It's like they took our lives and put them on T.V."
That's not to say I don't like Grey's Anatomy, I've caught a few episodes
lately. I find the lead character (Meredith?) a bit pathetic, but I think
that's what you're supposed to think. I love the Chinese woman (not sure
what her character's name is) she cracks me up.
You should check out Scrubs... I think it's the funniest, smartest show on
the boob-toob, but then it's the kind of humor I like.

David Caruso is the William Shatner of a new generation.
I wish they hadn't killed off Invasion, that could have been some classic

that is SO funny that you say that! i have often made the same comparison
myself. david caruso is so freakin dramatic. just like william shatner in
old star trek reruns. very similar styles. me and my 15 yr old often make
fun of horatio. we'll stand there with our hands in our pockets, chin
tucked under and head turned sideways and say something brilliant in our
best horatio voices. he has the best puns ever! i also love the way he
says, "alex." :))
