the cicadas that invaded the Chicago-area and parts of the midwest
during the spring-summer of 1990, BY THE TRILLIONS are on their way
BACK. OH MY GOD I remember in '90 all the friggin cicadas
EVERYWHERE. Trees, bushes, the ground COVERED IN THEM. the noise
they made was 100x what you usually hear when the NORMAL cicadas or
similar insects are making their sound. AND THEN THE BODIES, their
exoskeletons EVERYWHERE. like ghosts. I remember not knowing if some
of them were alive or what it was so friggin cool, in a sense.

I haven't seen them myself, but I got my pulse rifle, flamethrower,
grenades, etc ready.
