Yep. Today I went to partial, came home and took Dan to an
afternoon martial arts class. At least now I don't have to
go anywhere for the rest of the day. I just have to get
Michael to his 9 am track practice in the morning. I can
do this.

Absolutely and the group is here for those in-between times
as well.

It does help. I also just called the crisis line. That was
kind of useless, but worth a shot. She basically said that
it sounds like I'm doing everything I can. At least she
didn't freak out about my being a cutter.

That's good. I've wondered from time to time what kind of
training those respondents do receive. I pretty much
reached the same conclusion you have, long ago. When I
heard two classmates talking about their experiences
working in the call center, it pretty much blew whatever
confidence I had left in that avenue. Sounds like your
experience was more positive tho' so that's good.

I've been physically alone for virtually every night for
my life, and that is not about to change, you can do it.

Generally, what keeps me safe is knowing I could be caught
if I cut. I had strong urges to really mess myself up, on
top of the suicidal ones. That's what really scared me.

BTW, I did it. Being here last night helped enormously.
