I don't have it, my psych said. It's one less thing to worry about. I
miss it already.

Don't you think your left ankle's looking a bit swollen though?

Now that you mention it, I can't believe I missed it. Maybe we should do a
more thorough inspection together, just to be safe. Because we have Alan's
best interests at heart. Because we're caring and sharing that way.

The left one is fine, but the inside of the right is definitely looking
a bit swollen. How did you know?

I'm sorry you took one of the few serious statements I've made in the
whole of the year and laughed at it.

Other than giving you one less thing to worry about, was the doctor
visit helpful?
p,
who hopes you are feeling better

Three quarters of an hour with someone paying undiluted attention to you
is bound to be good, isn't it? We've upped a med, and he, himself, is
going to make another appointment for a month's time. Last time he wrote
to the appointments desk for six weeks and it took thirteen. In four
weeks I should have reached the new med levels.

p,

Not too bad. I've been playing, and playing with, MP3s all day. I now
have one which is an hour of ocean surf. Maybe I should play it when I'm
reading asd, to mellow me out.
