I know it... to me there is something very "old fashioned" about
being pro american, if you are an american... and old fashioned ideas
upset me, in a way... Mainly because I'm uncomfortable with all the
parts of myself that are old fashioned... However, the man with
alzheimer's disease, who I visit with every week, has an American flag
on his front porch, and I'm not upset about it... Usually American
flags upset me, but I'm able to get past it in this situation...
